The first release in the Dr Rock series was a pretty fun, music-themed game following a mad scientist who gave off the same vibe as Doc from Back to the Future. However, when the revival of the series happened in 2025 with the release of two seasonal releases that didn’t really bring much new to the table, we got a bit disappointed. However, we would argue that Dr Luck Golden Rock was an even worse way to reintroduce the character. TrueLab went with arguably the laziest way possible to create a seasonal release, and that is to slap another mascot character on the cover and create a game with nothing. Visually, the game is everywhere, with different styles and colors that never really seem to mesh well together, and the easy cop-out seems to be just adding a couple of typical fruit and Leprechaun items and calling it a day. Unironically, the most interesting and probably the best thing about the game is actually its soundtrack, as it mixes the Dr Rock vibes with some typical Irish rock for just some fun nonsense. But enough about that, and let us just quickly mention the stats and the game’s one mechanic.

While overall, the game’s paytable isn’t half bad, as it’s the only way to pay upwards of 300X the bet on the lowest number of active paylines, that’s about it we can really say about it.
