We already celebrated a few spectacular wins and talked with the lucky champions about their experience, which you can read about in interviews with Random__Thug and Casthaneda. Today, another user joined the winner circle, having secured the top position in the latest competition, where a trip to Rio de Janeiro worth €3,000 was the top prize. After a heated rivalry, Dawid Olesiński came out on top, and we've reached out to him to grab some fresh feedback about the event.
Congratulations on your win! Can you tell us how long you have been a member of the AboutSlots community, and how you found out about the competition?
Dawid Olesiński: I’ve been a member of the AboutSlots community for a year now—more specifically, since June 24, 2025. I found out about this site when Pragmatic’s social tournament site shut down. People from that community showed me your website and told me that you also host tournaments where you can compete by playing slots.
Have you participated in any of the previous big competitions? If so, did you manage to win any prizes?
Dawid: I’ve participated in previous contests, but this is my first big win. All in all, I’ve managed to win quite a few giveaways and, as a result, received GoGift and Amazon gift cards, as well as some merchandise from providers like Hacksaw, Push Gaming, Nolimit, and ELK. My favorite prizes are the baseball jacket from Push Gaming and the desk mat from my favorite slot series, Pirots, by ELK.
How are you planning to use the main prize? Will you choose Rio or some other destination?
Dawid: I'm still in shock that I managed to win the grand prize, so I haven't planned exactly how I'll spend it yet. I do know, however, that I won't be flying to Rio, but I do plan to fly to a country in Europe. I’ve never flown on a plane before, so I’d prefer to start with a shorter trip for my first flight (I’m from Poland) and spend part of the money on the trip. With the rest of the money, I plan to buy a new phone and a bike.
Apart from the competitions, how else do you engage with the AboutSlots forum and website?
Dawid: I also use the site to check out casinos by reading the reviews you post, and I use your referral links to sign up at the casinos.
Which slots included in the competition did you find the most exciting to play?
Dawid: My favorite slot from the entire list of eligible entries was Jelly Express. I spent the most time on it to earn qualifying entries, but it was also the one I enjoyed the most.
Do you watch CasinoDaddy streams and have a favourite streamer?
Dawid: I don't watch CasinoDaddy's streams. My English listening comprehension skills are very poor, so I don't understand much. I plan to improve this skill, so maybe I'll start watching your streams in the future.
Do you have any feedback for the organisers about the format of the competition? Was it easy to fulfil the requirements and submit your entries?
Dawid: I don't think anything needs to be changed. The rules are very simple, and there aren't any strict requirements for participating. Plus, on Pragmatic, access to the replay links is absolutely fantastic.
Are you planning to participate in our next big competitions?
Dawid: I've been thinking lately about taking a break, but if the circumstances are right and I have some free time, I'll definitely participate.
If you could hijack the CasinoDaddy stream for 10 minutes, what would you do?
Dawid: I don’t know, I’d have to improvise.
