October gave us quite the thrilling lineup to explore, and with Halloween around the corner, it seems many developers decided to take risks with their themes and game mechanics. Firstly, Shady Lady returned to horror territory with its latest release, Love Nest, a gory continuation of the previous title, SEW. In this new installment, players are able to follow a critter moving through the cemetery in search of unlucky people hiding inside coffins, which trigger Wilds, multipliers, and Vortexes throughout the session. Last year’s SEW was released almost one year ago, on 27 October 2025.
Not one to fall behind, ELK Studios decided to develop its own dystopian tale. Its new sequel, Propaganda 2, retains much of what fans loved from the first edition, including Wilds and the progressive multiplier feature. However, it also offers some interesting additions, such as the Heart feature, mask collecting, and The Drop, which serves as an alternative hold-and-win bonus. On another note, Print Studios decided to turn the tale of its potato saga towards the macabre with the new release, Rotten Potato. In this horror-themed game, a mysterious fungus spreads the Mystery symbols randomly throughout the grid without requiring any specific triggering symbols.
NetEnt’s latest release, Nunchucks, comes from a bizarre premise in which fighting nuns take on a group of criminals, using Colossal Symbols, Wild Reels, and multipliers as their tools. With Medium volatility, a rather interesting 12,000x max win potential, and a great story behind the game, it’s sure to attract plenty of attention. Below, we’ll be looking at which games made the biggest splash last month and which studios garnered viewers’ attention the most.
