iSoftBet Becomes Part of IGT

The veteran game developer International Game Technology (IGT) announces that the acquisition of iSoftBet is completed. IGT pays approximately $160 million in cash for the iGaming content provider.

When the two companies become one, IGT more than doubles its catalog to approximately 225 games. The company also gets a hold of iSoftBet’s world-class game aggregation platform that is distributed to third-party games and leading data-driven tools for promotions and engagement.

IGT was founded in 1951, serving physical casinos for many years with slots and other games. Today it creates top-class entertainment for physical and online casinos and has converted several classic games into iGaming favourites.

With the company’s long experience, it’s practically impossible to find a land-based casino without any IGT games. Some of IGT’s most played slots are created from famous movies such as Ghostbusters and Star Trek. The company has also released games based on tv-shows and board games, such as Jeopardy, Monopoly, Wheel of Fortune, and Cluedo.

iSoftBet is a game developer known for a wide variety of games, offering something for all players. It’s located in London, and the titles are present in online casinos all over the world. It also has a reputation for being reliable since it’s specialized in powering regulated markets.

iSoftBet has released about 20 games with a Hold & Win feature, with Aztec Gold Extra Gold Megaways and Lanterns & Lions being two of them. Another appreciated game is the classic-looking Triple Fruit Deluxe Megaways.

Oakvale Capital LLP was the lead financial advisor to IGT, while Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz gave legal advice. iSoftBet had M.Firon & Co. and Wiggin LLP as legal advisors, and BDO Israel was the independent public accounting and tax firm on behalf of iSoftBet.
