SpinPlay Games was founded in Las Vegas in 2019 as a math-first studio by a group of mathematicians who called themselves “6 strong.” The company initially released games exclusively in Las Vegas until its partnership with Microgaming in 2020, which allowed it to distribute its games on Microgaming’s network and provided access to use its unique features, such as the Wowpot and Mega Moolah progressive jackpots. However, as we are all aware, in 2022, Games Global acquired Microgaming and its distribution network, which included SpinPlay games, alongside many other studios. This gave SpinPlay Games an even larger network to which they could expand and distribute their games, allowing them to be available globally under the new platform and granting us and many other players a glimpse into their portfolio.

Even though SpinPlay Games had some successful releases over the years, we didn’t really give them the attention they deserved until they started releasing games as part of the Amazing Link feature series, known for its cash prizes and jackpots, which is when they began to gain traction on a global scale. SpinPlay Games quickly found its niche in the casino industry, and that might have been thanks to the partnership with Microgaming and later Games Global. For being such a small studio, the company releases games at a surprisingly high rate, presumably because many of its games share similar features and gameplay formulas. However, that isn’t to say that they produce low-quality games, as there is a reason for the success of the Amazing Link series, and that seems to fit SpinPlay Games perfectly.
