Floridaman Slot Overview

Floridaman is a casino slot from AvatarUX that takes you to the Sunshine State for a session of craziness.

Ever opened up the newspaper to read something along the lines of “Florida Man Suspected of Using Private Plane to Draw Giant Radar Penis”? We ask because that is an actual headline in a sea of similar quotes starting with “Florida Man”. With that said, we don’t condone calling all inhabitants of Florida crazy, but perhaps there’s something in the air down there that makes some individuals a little wild. And hey, we should be grateful for Floridamen; they make news reading a whole lot more fun. What role they’re playing in this game remains unknown at the time of writing this, but we’re about to find out. Let’s dig in!

Base Game

Floridaman is a video slot from AvatarUX with a setup of 6 reels and 3-6 rows, creating up to 46 656 payways. Players can choose between a Min.bet of 0.20 and a Max.bet of 100. The game has a default RTP of 96%, but there are also versions of 94% and 90.5%, so be on the lookout.  Lastly, Floridaman is played at medium volatility and can net you a max win of 10000x the bet.

Floridamen are often associated with unhinged situations where a lot of crazy things are going on, which suits this game well. The features of Floridamen are Wild Symbol, Zap Reel, Jailed Wilds, Mystery Splits, Floridaman Attack, Free Spins, and Feature Buy.

Floridaman Slot Information

The game has a painting-like frame and looks quite different from the regular Pop games we usually see from the provider. One of our favorite things about this game is its colorfulness, which not only suits the theme but also provides a really joyful experience.  The Floridaman can be spotted in the intro and very much resembles Donald Trump if he was 40kg lighter and covered in face tattoos.

Floridaman can be played on all common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is created by landing 3 or more matching symbols on consecutive reels, starting from the leftmost reel.

The lower-paying symbols consist of 10, J, Q, and K. A connection of 6 with one of these pays 2x the bet. The higher-paying symbols include manatees, flamingos, tigers, amusement parks, trailer parks, and sundowns. Six-of-a-kind with these pays 3x-4x the bet. There are also Scatter symbols, Wild symbols, Multipliers, Mystery symbols, and Floridamen, but more on that in a bit.

Floridaman Slot Features

What is the max win in the slot Floridaman?

You can win up to 20000x the bet.

What features are available in the slot Floridaman?

The features are Wild Symbol, Zap Reel, Jailed Wilds, Mystery Splits, Floridaman Attack, Free Spins, and Feature Buy.

Free Spins Gamble Wheel

Wild Symbol

Wild symbols enable more winning combinations by substituting for other paying symbols.

Zap Reel

The Zap Reel is an additional, horizontal reel above the regular grid. Regular symbols that land here can help in creating winning combinations just like normal.

In addition, Multiplier symbols are available on the Zap Reel, applying a multiplier to wins. If more than one lands, they add together.

Positions 3 and 4 on the Zap Reel are locked and do not have any symbols. Instead, they are occupied by the Wild Jail, to which unused Wild symbols are collected.

Jailed Wilds

All unused Wild symbols are collected into the Wild Jail. In base game, randomly, on any spin, the collected Wilds can be released onto the reels.

Mystery Splits

At any time, randomly, the Mystery Splits feature can trigger. It first expands one or more reels by 2 or 3 rows and then reveals a Mystery symbol in those spots, filled by copies of the same, randomly drawn symbol.

Floridaman Attack

At any spin, the Floridaman Attack feature can randomly trigger. At the end of the spin, a random amount of high-paying symbols transform into Wilds for the following spin.

Free Spins

Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins feature. Your first order of business will be to either collect it or spin the gamble wheel. Collecting it gives you a random amount of spins and starting ways, while the gamble wheel offers a chance to upgrade the Free Spins with a higher tier of spins and ways, but you also risk losing the bonus.

During Free Spins, all Wilds that are not part of a winning combination are held in the Wild Jail, and are all released at the same time on the last spin, creating potential for a juicy hit. A random feature called Swamp Fever can also trigger, granting 2 additional Free Spins and increasing the chance of triggering Floridaman Attack on the following spins.

Free Spins

Feature Buy

If you want to spice it up, the following xPress feature buys are available:

1.25x = Activates the Ante Bet, doubling the chance of each spin to trigger the Free Spins feature.

50x = Triggers the Free Spins feature with up to 8 Free Spins and 6400 ways.

100x = Triggers the Free Spins feature with up to 10 Free Spins and 10000 ways.

150x = Triggers the Free Spins feature with up to 12 Free Spins and 20736 ways.

200x = Triggers the Free Spins feature with up to 14 Free Spins and 32400 ways.

500x = Triggers the Free Spins feature with 16 Free Spins and 46656 ways.

Floridaman Slot Conclusion

When we saw this title, we expected a bizarre theme. It’s a bit unclear what exactly we thought we’d see, but perhaps more violence or just overall degenerate things. But after taking a step back and analyzing the situation, we realize that we are probably very influenced by NoLimit City. They are sort of the South Park of iGaming, constantly pushing the boundaries of what the audience deem reasonable. They have a game called Land of the Free that pretty much shows what we expected from “Floridaman”.

What we got was a more careful setting, playing with the fun concept of a “Floridaman”, instead of doing something wildly controversial. With that said, the Donald Trump-lookalike could potentially add some controversy. And hey, even though the theme might not offend as many as NoLimit City could’ve done if they got their hands on it, it is a gorgeous production with plenty of colors and interesting symbols, creating a nice, unique vibe that is not similar to AvatarUX’s previous games.

Mechanically, they sure have stirred the pot as well. In many ways, it resembles what we saw in DonKey & the GOATS when it comes to grid setup, which they explored further in Nugget. We wouldn’t say that it feels too groundbreaking, but it brings an explosive feeling, creating plenty of potential with its multipliers, wilds, and payways.

Floridaman by AvatarUX uses a fun concept to create a joyful game with explosive mechanics.
