However, despite its Mesozoic theme, the buildings and cars imply that the two eras have collided to create a dystopian society where dinosaurs roam. Now, these dinos might look cute and kind, but if we’re being realistic, a world filled with these beasts would not be safe for anyone. We’ll stop being party poopers now; it’s time for Dinopolis to meet Big Bamboo.

It’s unclear in which era the game takes place. The mix of dinosaurs and cars doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but who cares. Despite the confusing theme, it’s a phenomenal setting where Push has, once again, worked thoroughly with colors and high-quality graphics to create a pretty environment. As we all know, slots can be infuriating when it doesn’t go your way, and that’s where a good-looking, smooth frame can make a difference. 

Dino P.D can be played on all common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is created by landing 3 or more matching symbols on consecutive reels within the game’s lines, starting from the leftmost reel. 

The lower-paying symbols consist of donuts in various colors. A full line of 5 with one of these pays 3x the bet. The medium-paying symbols are locks, radios, flasks of gas, and megaphones, paying 7.5x-10x the bet for a full line of 5. The higher-paying symbols include three dinosaurs. Five-of-a-kind with these pays 30x-50x the bet. Wild symbols and Scatters are also available, with the former substituting for other symbols and the latter activating the bonus game. Coin Symbols

Dino P.D Slot Conclusion

By now, we’re used to slot sequels in all forms and shapes. Some become huge hits, while others fail to live up to player expectations. What we haven’t seen that much of, though, is this type of mashups. At first, we thought that it was just Big Bamboo 2 in a Dinopolis skin, but it turns out that it’s a mix of both, mechanically. We have the coins that stems from both games. To upgrade, you need the highlighted coins, just like in Dinopolis, but the sort of upgrade itself is similar to that of Big Bamboo. Similar mashups have probably been done in the past, but we’d love to see more of it, instead of just “regular” re-skins. 

However, an interesting theme with a cool mashup doesn’t automatically result in a fun game. Nonetheless, it did here. There are two annoyances in Dinopolis and Big Bamboo that are removed here. In Dinopolis, you’d often land huge coins, but failed to connect them so they were often just a tease. You still need five coins to activate them here, but it didn’t feel as frustrating. In Big Bamboo, you had to land bamboo to even have a chance of landing coins. Therefore, it lived more on its regular connections than big wins from coins. The issue was that it didn’t pay a whole lot if you didn’t level up, and you had to either gamble or land Scatters for that. It’s the same principle in Dino P.D, but the focus is now fully on coins, which can pay a lot even if you don’t have a multiplier.
