Blueprint Gaming has officially secured the right from Warner Bros. Discovery to create a slot series on one of the world’s most popular TV shows, Game of Thrones. The deal also includes titles inspired by House of the Dragon, meaning we can expect several releases from the provider starting in March 2026.
Game of Thrones aired from 2011 to 2019 on HBO and is one of the most-watched TV series in history. With over 59 Emmy Awards, it became a global pop culture phenomenon, with people often watching the episodes together at viewing parties. It’s based on A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin and has created one of the strongest fantasy IP (Intellectual Property), owned and protected by Warner Bros. Discovery. As of now, due to a formal licensing deal, Blueprint Gaming will dive into the world of Westeros and bring us games featuring characters, music, and themes from the Game of Thrones universe.
We recommend checking out our review of the first game, Game of Thrones, with a release date of the 26th of March. Here, we get Blueprint Gaming’s familiar money collection mechanic and Base Game modifiers. Even though the gameplay didn’t bring any big surprises, we were impressed by the strong references to the show, making it a must for fans.
This is hardly the first time we see a branded slot release from Bluprint Gaming, as we are reminded of Ted Cash Lock and Rick and Morty Strike Back. Considering the success of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, it wouldn’t be surprising if Blueprint Gaming tries to secure the rights to this prequel as well, expanding their Game of Thrones portfolio.
