BeyondPlay, a B2B start-up gaming provider, has been granted a Remote Casino Host and Gambling Software Licence from the UK Gambling Commission.
Karolina Pelc, Founder, and CEO of BeyondPlay, said: "This stamp of approval marks a momentous occasion, as BeyondPlay will introduce new and thrilling gaming experiences, offering unparalleled entertainment value and community play for real-money gaming operators in Great Britain. Our Multiplayer product boasts an array of features that exceed standard responsible gaming requirements. These features include low-stake and community-pooled betting, spectator mode, and time-outs, which ensure that players can enjoy the product in a secure and enjoyable environment.”
It comes after the company received a B2B Critical Supply Licence from the Malta Gaming Authority in December 2022. License applications in Ontario, Sweden, and various US jurisdictions are in progress.
In February 2023, LeoVegas Group sold off its 25% ownership stake in BeyondPlay to various strategic investors, including Bettor Capital. In just two years, LeoVentures achieved a 73% return on its investment with BeyondPlay. This transaction concluded the larger fundraising round for BeyondPlay, and details of this are expected to be revealed soon.
Karolina Pelc, Founder and CEO of BeyondPlay, added: "We are extremely grateful to the team at Harris Hagan and our investors for their advice, cooperation, and support throughout what has been a detailed and thorough qualification process, especially given the evolving nature of the product and investment structure of the business."

We are thrilled for them and excited to watch BeyondPlay grow and see the opportunities that lay ahead."
The start-up has partnered with four top-tier companies - Casumo, ComeOn Group, LeoVegas Group, and Soft2Bet - and is scheduled to roll out its solutions in the second and third quarters of 2023. Additionally, more partnerships are currently being negotiated.
Founded in 2021, BeyondPlay is an exciting game provider that knows the current trends and challenges of the ever-growing gaming industry. The company was founded by Karolina Pelc, who has gained experience leading product teams of award-winning iGaming operators. She recognized early on that community connection creates engagement in video games - something mainly missing in real-money gaming propositions.
Karolina secured financial backing from some of the industry's top figures to launch her disruptive B2B technology provider - BeyondPlay (previously known as SharedPlay). With a team of experienced and passionate innovators, this provider is poised to revolutionize how people play. Through their custom-built platform, streaming technology, and social features, they offer an interactive multiplayer experience for operators, game providers, and players.
The company's strategy is based on market insights that suggest communities greatly influence game and player retention rates. BeyondPlay is pushing the boundaries to redefine how we play.
