Final Thoughts on The Racaroon
The Racaroon, while having a bit of a charming personality thanks to its somewhat unique theme, isn’t the most impressive release, as its visuals and gameplay aren’t much to write home about. But every release doesn’t need to be top of the pyramid, and we think The Racaroon does deliver on a fun slot experience that can work for both newcomers and veterans alike. However, The Racaroon sadly does lack in certain aspects, which weren’t really addressed in its reskinned form, Big Bad Wolf: High Steaks, with its relatively lacking statline being one of the first offenders you might spot.
When it comes to gameplay, while we don’t think its features and bonuses are anything mind-blowing, we do think the entire gameplay loop works pretty well. For a starter, something that The Racaroon does correct is that its base game isn’t just a waiting room for the next big bonus game, as there are ways to both hit Cash Prizes and set up bigger wins in the form of the Win Multipliers counter and the progressive Golden Macaroon Prizes. However, this does lead us to one of the lacking aspects that we mentioned earlier, which is its wins, especially in its regular paytable. This means we have to rely on Cash Prizes and Golden Macaroon Prizes, along with high Win Multipliers, if we feel like hunting for big wins. Paired with the aforementioned statline, The Racaroon can feel a bit weak when it comes to payouts, which can lead to losing interest, especially in longer play sessions. Even with that said, we think Playtech delivered a pretty fun experience that could be worth checking out, but just be sure you know what to expect before you start spinning.
