Introduction to Shark Park

Shark Park is a casino slot from Thunderkick set at the public pool where uninvited guests are stirring quite a problem. While many may think of sharks as bloodthirsty killing machines, as they often are portrayed in fan-favorite releases such as the Razor Shark series. That isn’t necessarily true, as, while lethal, sharks aren’t as aggressive as the movie JAWS would make you believe. However, Thunderkick may not have caught that memo, as while cute, the sharks at this pool are here for one thing only, and that is to get a taste of pool-goers. In the actual game, they take the role of Shark Wilds, which will appear out of the depths with random Multipliers up to 100X, which can also merge together from wins as they swim around the playing grid. Gameplay-wise, Shark Park is pretty simple, but don’t let that deter you, as while its features are few, they are more than capable of delivering on highly volatile spins and explosive wins. So, join us as we explore Shark Park and see what treasures may have sunk to the ocean floor, sporting a max win of 10,000X the bet.

Thunderkick delivers on a game all about relaxing at the pool with shark-infested waters, where wins and Multipliers stack the more pool-goers get eaten.

The playing grid has been built into a pool, with symbols depicted as swimmers, beachballs, and lifeguards

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts

Shark Park is a video slot from Thunderkick with 6 Reels, a 6-7-6-7-6-7-6 Row setup, and uses Cluster Pay mechanics, needing a minimum of 5+ of the same symbols to form a win. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.1 and a Max.bet of 100. Shark Park comes with a lower-than-average RTP of 94.14%, high volatility, and a solid max win of 10,000X the bet.

As mentioned in the introduction, Shark Park is set at the local pool, with the oddly shaped pool grid filled with pool-goers and sharks. Visually, the game is vibrant and charming, really selling the point of the not-so-serious theme. You can play the game on most notepads, mobiles, and desktops.

The lower-paying symbols are differently colored beach balls, including blue, green, red, and purple. Creating a win with 50+ of the same symbols will pay out 50X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are various pool-goers, including the man in the green swim ring, the man on a duck ring, the woman on a flamingo ring, and the lifeguard. Landing a win with 50+ of the same symbols pays out 75X to 200X the bet. Then we have two types of Special Symbols, those being the Shark Wilds with Multipliers and Scatter Symbols, which we will discuss more in the Feature section.

Special Features & Mechanics

What is the max win in the slot Shark Park?

You can win up to 10,000X the bet.

What features are available in the slot Shark Park?

The features are Cascades, Shark Wilds, Free Spins, Ante Bet, and Feature Buy.

The shark gets into a frenzy and the pool is at full alarm as blood spills just about everywhere during the bonus game
Free Spins

Cascades

Whenever a Cluster Win is made, the winning symbols are removed from the playing grid, allowing new symbols to fall in from above with the potential to create new winning combinations. This continues until no more wins can be made, thus ending the spin.

Shark Wilds

Wild Symbols can help create winning combinations by being able to substitute for all symbols except Scatter Symbols. Each Shark Wild Symbol that appears has a chance to come with a Multiplier of 2X, 3X, 5X, or 100X, and each time a Cluster Pay is made without a Wild Symbol, a Shark Wild will appear.

After a winning combination is made with a Shark Wild, it will move to a random position on the playing grid. If the winning combination contained two or more Shark Wilds, they will merge together, multiplying their Multiplier Values together to form a single Shark Wild Symbol.

Free Spins

By landing 3 Scatter Symbols, you will be awarded the Free Spins feature with 8 spins, which will carry over any Multiplier Shark Wilds currently on the playing grid. During the bonus game, all Multiplier Shark Wilds are persistent, staying on the playing grid between reels to help them stack up more easily for bigger wins. By landing 1 Scatter Symbol, you will be awarded +1 spin, up to a maximum of +3 extra free spins per spin.

There are three types of Feature Buy options to choose from
Feature Buy

Ante Bet

There are two Ante Bet options that can be turned on to increase your chances of activating the bonus game, but at the cost of increasing your current bet.

1.5X = Activates the Bonus Boost, making each spin 2 times more likely to trigger the bonus game.

2.5X = Activates the Bonus Boost Plus, making each spin 5 times more likely to trigger the bonus game.

Feature Buy

Through the Feature Buy, you can instantly enter a bonus game for a price based on the current bet.

80X = Awards Into The Blue, triggering the Free Spins feature.

200X = Awards Beneath The Surface, triggering the Free Spins feature with a Shark Wild with either a 2X, 3X, or 5X Multiplier.

500X = Awards Blood In The Water, triggering the Free Spins feature with a Shark Wild with a 100X Multiplier.

Final Thoughts on Shark Park

Shark Park is a release filled with personality and charm, and is a game that we thoroughly enjoyed playing because of its presentation and visuals. However, that doesn’t mean we think this is a perfect release, as much of its gameplay draws heavy inspiration from bigger fish that have, over the years, swum their way onto many players’ top lists. On top of this, if you follow Thunderkick, you might feel like this game is just a bit too familiar, as it is almost a reskin of Greedy Pumpking, a game released only a month prior. While its inspired gameplay is something that we can let slide because of its fun theme and great visuals, the fact that the game is so identical to a previous release is a bit disheartening.

Speaking of gameplay, as we’ve mentioned earlier, Cascades and Stacking Multipliers aren’t exactly a new concept, but are a fan favorite combination for a good reason. This volatile combination can lead to explosive win streaks and payouts, and Shark Park makes it all a bit smoother thanks to its Movement and Merging Wilds. Top this off with the persistent Wilds in the Free Spins bonus game, and you have a recipe for some bloody wins, especially for max win hunters wanting to try out the Blood In The Water Feature Buy option, which awards you with a 100X Multiplier straight out of the gate. But while we think its simple gameplay is fun, we can see many players feel the feature list is a bit lacking, and we kinda agree. At the end of the day, Shark Park does set out to deliver on some charming and explosive wins, but nothing that we haven’t seen before, especially because of its reskinned nature, but it is probably the release that we prefer out of the two, largely thanks to its presentation and more interesting feature buy options.

Shark Park is a fun release that sadly gets dragged down thanks to the fact that it is a reskin of a game that was released only a month prior, with a volatile gameplay loop centered around Cascades and stacking Multiplier Shark Wilds.
