Such a setting will undoubtedly prove to be an acquired taste for many, and for some, that acquisition may never materialize, but that's the risk of rolling with a controversial idea.
Lastly, the mechanics. After spending a proper chunk of time with the demo, we were surprised not to see any of the Nolimit's xMechanics, which were the key point of the Sneaky Slots reveal. Perhaps it was a deliberate move to focus only on their own ideas for the first release, not to ride on the borrowed features right out the gate. Nip Tuck is undoubtedly a rich collection of mechanics, keeping things interesting from start to finish, although we can't say that there's a huge dose of innovation shining through that grim exterior. Also, the Free Skins round doesn't introduce any new ones, except for the possibility of earning more rounds. Lock & Load's pre-bonus stage felt quite intriguing initially, but after transforming into a regular hold&win round with 1 of 3 potential modifiers that have been utilized many times before, it quickly fizzled out.
