Exco Game Studio Review
EXCO is a new independent studio that recently popped up in 2025, created and led by Fredrik Elmqvist, who is previously known for his work at Yggdrasil. The studio's creation was born from a passion for slot games, wanting to create games from the ground up, and being tired of common industry practices of games with “zero identity” that aim to chase trends. Their debut game, Vegascaline, dropped in September of 2025, and is a psychedelic feverdream of shifting reels, mystery stacks, and chaotic bonus games. Exco Game Studio also has its roadmap timeline published on its website, showing off its future plans and next releases.

Being a very new studio to the industry, Exco Game Studios doesn’t have a lot of games to show off just yet. However, the studio quickly published information on its first 3 releases, those being Vegascaline, which we mentioned earlier, Robbin’ Goblins, themed around a neon-tinged medieval goblin raid, and TRiGGR, an adrenaline-filled game based around Cascading Wins and explosive bonuses.
Exco Game Studio Conclusion
Exco Game Studio came a bit out of nowhere, and right off the bat, it promised a lot of things to show the industry that it was a provider that should be taken seriously. Some of their practices, or DNA as they call it, are to never recycle ideas, build every game up from zero, and to stay independent to be true to the players. While we don’t have much to go on so far, Exco and their early lineup of games show a lot of promise, and if they can keep faithful to their promises while releasing quality games, then you will surely start hearing a lot more from them, as we are anxiously anticipating the next release.
