So, we started spinning the game and quickly suspected that this was a straight-up Gates of Olympus copy. A similar grid, the scatter pays mechanic, and 4+ Scatters to trigger the bonus. However, despite its similarities to other games, both mechanically and thematically, the touch of Midas makes it feel different. Games like Gates of Olympus, Starlight Princess, etc, have this issue where the bonus can quickly feel “over” if you don’t land any juicy multipliers early on. It quickly becomes a pattern and creates an annoyance a bonus starts off with a few dead spins.
