Introduction to Huff N’ Puff CollectR
Huff N’ Puff CollectR is a casino slot from ELK Studios, where you, yet again, arrive at a construction site where nothing seems to go as planned. The Huff N’ Puff series is an interesting one, originally starting out as a land-based casino series, it saw an online release in 2025 with Huff N’ More Puff from Light & Wonder, which then saw 7 more releases, in the form of sequels and variants, throughout the year.
Now, Light & Wonder partner studio, the titan ELK Studios, is up to bat with the release of Huff N’ Puff CollectR. As the title suggests, this game comes with the CollectR mechanic, which was made famous through the studio’s beloved Pirots series, and has even been seen in other studio releases, such as when Nolimit City made its own variation with xLoot in Tanked and Quickspin delivered on Robbits.
The addition of the CollectR mechanic changes quite a lot of the foundations laid in the Huff N’ Puff series, but don’t fret, as the series is known for being overly stuffed with features and bonuses, and this time around is no different. The base game concept surrounds the 4 Pig Collect Symbols, which move around picking up gems for payouts, filling up the collect meter for Feature Symbols, and triggering bonuses, which all come together in a chaotic mess with a max win of 5,000X the bet.
See what the piggies and the Big Bad Wolf are up to again, with the newly added CollectR mechanic, which changes up how wins are made in an already feature-packed series. If you want to try out the game for yourself, be sure to check out the Huff N’ Puff CollectR demo.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts
Huff N’ Puff CollectR is a video slot from ELK Studios with 6 to 8 Reels, 6 to 8 Rows, and uses the CollectR mechanic instead of Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.2 and a Max.bet of 100. Huff N’ Puff CollectR comes with an RTP of 96% by default, where some gaming operators can also choose a lower one of 87%. The game has medium/high volatility and a hit frequency of 26.0%, with a max win of 5,000X the bet.
The game is set at a construction site, right outside the wealthy Pigs’ mansion, where the three little pigs and the Big Bad Wolf have been tasked with building some new houses. The many features will trigger various construction equipment, and the Hat Bonus Games even take you up to the Mansion itself. You can play the game on most notepads, mobiles, and desktops.
All paying symbols come in 7 different versions, which can be upgraded by hitting the Upgrade Symbol, and can only be collected by the color corresponding to the Pig. The paytable for each colored gem from lowest to highest is as follows: blue, green, purple, and red, and each of the colored gems’ respective payouts at level 7 are as follows: 1.5X, 2X, 2.5X, and 5X the bet. There are also many Special and Feature Symbols in the game, which you can learn more about in the next section.

What features are available in the game Huff N’ Puff CollectR?
The features are CollectR, Collection Meter and Feature Symbols, Corner Bombs, Tunnels and Wells, Wolf Crane, Wolf Demolition, The Golden Wheel, Piggy Bank, Hat Mania, Free Spins, and Feature Buy (X-iter).

CollectR
Instead of regular Paylines, the CollectR uses 4 differently colored pig Collect Symbols that move around the playing grid, and can only pick up Gem Symbols of the same color as well as Feature and Scatter Symbols. Each time a Pig collects symbols on the playing grid, and no more wins can be made, new symbols will fall down to refill the playing grid, and this will continue until no more wins are made.
Adjacent Pigs can trigger the Switcheroo feature, allowing them to switch position to allow access to more clusters of gems. However, if three or more Pigs end up horizontally or vertically adjacent and are unable to collect more symbols, the Piggy Fight feature will trigger, making them fight and be sent flying in all directions, picking up any Gems and Feature Symbols on their flightpath.
Collection Meter and Feature Symbols
By collecting gem symbols, they will be added to the Collection Meter at the top of the playing grid, and after filling it up, it will prepare a pending Feature Symbol release. Up to three Feature Symbol releases can be kept pending, and will be released at the same time when no more wins can be made. The Feature Symbols are as follows:
Jackhammer = When a Pig Symbol collects a Jackhammer, the Pig can now cross up to one empty space to reach additional clusters of symbols.
Transform = A collected Transform symbol changes a random cluster of gems next to the pig that collected it into the same color. This can also change a random number of gems into Feature Symbols.
Wild = Wild Symbols substitutes for any gems at their current respective payout level.
Scatter = 3 Scatter Symbols on the same spin will trigger the Free Spins feature.
Super Scatter = Landing one Super Scatter Symbol alongside 2 or more Scatter Symbols will award the Super Free Spins feature.
Upgrade = The Upgrade Symbol upgrades the payout level of one of the gem types by 1, 2, or 3 steps, up to a maximum of 7.
Upgrade All = The Upgrade All Symbol upgrades the payout level of all gem types by 1, 2, or 3 steps, up to a maximum of 7.
Hat Scatter = The Hat Scatter Symbols will trigger the Hat Mania Bonus Game.
Wolf Construction = Will trigger the Wolf Crane feature when no more wins can be made.
Corner Bombs
Corner Bombs are located in each corner of the initial 6x6 playing grid, and each bomb is assigned a pig’s color at the start of each round. If a pig collects the same color Corner Bomb, the bomb will activate, detonating after no more gems can be collected. When detonating, it will remove all pigs from the game grid and all gems within a 3x3 area of the bomb, and then refill the grid with pigs and new gems. This will also remove the connected pipeline section and expand the playing grid, up to a maximum of 8x8. If no more wins can be made, there’s a chance to trigger Big Tony’s Extra Chance feature, which will trigger one, two, three, or all four Corner Bombs at the same time.
Tunnels and Wells
The Pipelines that surround the base game can be removed by Corner Bombs, opening them up for travel. If two of the same colored gems can be found at the entrance and exit of a pipe section, Pigs will travel through it to collect all available gems, and can find up to two Feature Symbols hiding within the pipes. After removing at least two pipeline sections, Wells will also be available, allowing Pigs to travel between them if collectable symbols are on top of two or more wells.
Wolf Crane
The Wolf Construction Symbol will trigger the Wolf Crane Feature at the end of a spin. The Wolf Crane appears with a 1X Multiplier and starts removing all columns one by one, sucking up all gems, pigs, and feature symbols except for Jackhammers and Transform symbols. If a Wolf Crane picks up a Pig Symbol, a fight will initiate, and if the Wolf wins, it will gain a +1 on its Multiplier, and if a Pig wins, the feature will end. If the Wolf Crane clears all columns, you will be awarded The Golden Wheel bonus.
Wolf Demolition
The Wolf Demolition feature can be triggered at any time when the pigs are unable to collect any more symbols. The feature will remove all symbols and Pigs from the game grid, and then trigger a new drop with new symbols and pigs. During this, one, two, or three pigs can be removed, along with the corresponding Pigs’ colored gems, which are replaced by the color of one or more of the active Pigs.
The Golden Wheel
The Golden Wheel is triggered after the Pigs or Wolf have collected all symbols on the game grid. It will randomly award an instant payout, or a Bonus Game, ranging from the Hat Mania, Mega Hat Mania, Free Spins, and Super Free Spins bonus game.

Piggy Bank
The Piggy Bank sits next to the playing grid the entire game, and Piggy Coins can randomly land on any spin, which will be collected and can, at any point, randomly trigger the Piggy Bank feature. This will award you a spin on the Super Wheel or the Jackpot Wheel, and their prizes are as follows:
Jackpot Wheel = Awards one of the following prizes: 10X, 25X, 100X, 500X, or 2,500X the bet.
Super Wheel = Awards one of the bonus games, ranging from Hat Mania, Mega Hat Mania, Free Spins, Super Free Spins, or an instant payout, which is based on the current bet.
Hat Mania
There are two types of Hat Mania bonus games, the standard one, which is played on a 6x6 playing grid with symbol sizes up to 6x6, and the Mega Hat Mania one, which is played on an 8x8 playing grid with symbol sizes up to 8x8. During the bonus game, you have 3 spins that reset with each new symbol hit and can only land Hat symbols, which will build up a Straw Frame at its position. These Straw Frames can then be upgraded to Wood and Brick Frames by landing additional Hat Symbols in the same position. After the bonus game ends, each Frame will turn into its respective House, with different payouts depending on the house.
Straw Frame = Can reveal coins with values ranging from 0.25X to 2X.
Wood Frame = Can reveal coins with values ranging from 5X to 2,500X.
Brick Frame = Can reveal coins with values ranging from 5X to 2,500X.
Free Spins
During the Free Spins feature, Hat Symbols can land on the playing grid, leaving Straw Frames behind them, which can also be upgraded to Brick Frames. Whenever a Scatter Symbol is collected during the Free Spins, it will trigger the Saw feature, which will move in a direction, leaving Frames and upgrading Frames in its path.
Triggering the Free Spins feature with a Super Scatter Symbol will award the Super Free Spins, which will upgrade the Saw Feature to the Super Saw Feature that will move through multiple rows, even moving through the same row multiple times, leaving Frames and upgrading Frames in its path.

Feature Buy (X-iter)
Through the Feature Buy option you can instantly start various features and BonusHunts for a price based on the current bet.
3X = Activates the BonusHunt, making each spin have a 3 times higher chance of triggering the Bonus Game.
25X = Triggers the Wolf Construction Symbols and guarantees the Wolf Crane feature.
50X = Triggers the Mega Hat Mania bonus game.
100X = Triggers the Free Spins feature.
250X = Triggers the Super Free Spins feature.
Final Thoughts on Huff N’ Puff CollectR
The Huff N’ Puff series is one of the most feature-packed and chaotic game series out there, and it’s even crazier hearing that nearly all of its many releases were during 2025, making the series feel oversaturated and confusing for no real reason. We’ve always felt the series felt too much of the same between releases, and there wasn’t much to really differentiate the games. However, ELK Studios did what we have asked for a long time: gave the latest release some identity through the addition of the CollectR mechanic. Before going all too hard into discussing the actual gameplay and features, we want to mention that while, yes, Huff N’ Puff CollectR is still a very feature-packed game, almost too much so, but the CollectR mechanic freed up a lot of space that was previously taken by a combination of messy visuals and chaotic feature triggers. These messy visuals may also be attributed to the fact that many previous releases had their visuals ripped straight from land-based games, whereas ELK Studios redoes all these graphics to feel more like a proper slot release. While we could continue discussing the series history or maybe address where the 4th piggy came from, we think we should move on to a more in-depth discussion of the gameplay and its many features.
If we start with the numbers, we find a higher RTP of 96% compared to the typical 94% trend ELK has had recently, which is really positive. The max win size is smaller than what we’ve seen in previous CollectR games, but since we don’t have actual stats, we can only assume they want to set a size that’s achieved more frequently among players. As mentioned, this game is built around the CollectR mechanic, which players love for spicing up the traditional gameplay loop without straying too far from the core slots experience. We personally think it has been handled perfectly here, even incorporating the construction setting with the various features, such as Tunnels, Wells, the Wolf Demolition, and the Wolf Crane, the latter being an interesting feature that shakes up the gameplay loop, offering up to a 5X Multiplier, and can be an easy ticket to the Golden Wheel bonus. However, from here, the game gets a bit messy, with, in our opinion, a bit too many different bonus games and features that have been present and copied over from previous releases. There are so many things that can happen on any spin, making the game hard to follow and, in turn, less immersive. There’s no denying that the Huff N’ Puff series has a big fanbase, and we think ELK Studios did a great job developing this game, but the series has flaws rooted in its core that we have a hard time overlooking. We’re sure that many fans of the series will love this breath of fresh air, as it does genuinely feel different from the prequels, and we think many new players new to the series will give it a shot, and that might just be because it has the ELK Studios name stamped on it.
Huff N’ Puff CollectR is a slot with ELK Studios’ signature CollectR mechanic mixed together with the chaotic hijinks of the 3 little piggies and the Big Bad Wolf.
