Pirots takes place in a cozy bay. The still water and green leaves create a soothing environment, and ELK has once again managed to create a tremendous setting, helping to lighten the mood during bad sessions, which are bound to occur at times when playing slots. 

Pirots can be played on all common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is created by landing, for example, a purple symbol next to a purple parrot or a special symbol. Parrots can only collect symbols adjacent to them, horizontally or vertically.

Transform Symbol

A barrel of rum acts as a Transform symbol, transforming a cluster of gems around it into the same color as the bird that collected it, or into a random number of feature symbols. 

Bomb Symbol

A Bomb symbol collected by a bird explodes when there are no more wins in view. It removes all symbols, except feature symbols, in close proximity of it, resulting in a redrop to fill empty symbol places. The explosion also expands the game grid, up to a maximum of 8 rows by 8 columns.

As is often the case with new ELK games, you might find yourself a bit confused at first. There’s a lot going on, especially with the whole collecting of symbols mechanic. However, once you figure it out, you’ll realize that this is a highly innovative game with a refreshing mechanic that we haven’t quite seen the likes of before. 

Thematically, ELK has, once again, proven why they’re a top provider. What many providers struggle with is innovating on visuals and settings, but ELK keeps impressing us with amazing visuals, soundtracks, and environments. Pirots offers all that in a unique frame with intriguing mechanics. 

In an industry where many actors struggle to innovate and instead reuses features over and over again, it brings us joy to spin the reels on this one. It genuinely feels like a new product, offering a new experience whether it’s your first time touching a slot machine or if you’ve gone through them all. It’s solid max win of 10.000x should entice most people, but following the latest trend from ELK, we are highly disappointed in the RTP of 94%.
