Introduction to Hell Yeah

Hell Yeah is a casino slot from Big Daddy Gaming with a fun take on a familiar theme. We’ve visited hell plenty of times during our years as a slot reviewer, with many games leaning heavily on a darker vibe, such as Six Six Six from Hacksaw Gaming. Here, we get a more upbeat, cartoonish tone, paired with high-quality visuals. Meet infamous characters such as Charles Manson, Saddam Hussein, and the Devil, offering gameplay featuring Cash Collect, Respins, and Bonus Game. Even though it might sound basic, small tweaks like Collector Multiplier and a lucrative Respin feature can deliver decent payouts. It doesn’t have the depth or innovation of a top-tier game, but its charm and decent take on the Cash Collect mechanic can be worth a spin. Try the Hell Yeah demo at the top of the page.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts

Hell Yeah is a video slot by Big Daddy Gaming that features 6 reels, 4 rows, and 4,096 ways to win. You can select bet sizes ranging from 0.1 to 200, with a default RTP of 96%. However, operators can choose to use the lower ones, such as 94% or 92%. This game has medium volatility and a hit frequency of 21%, offering potential wins of up to 5,000X your bet. On average, it takes 258 spins to activate the Free Spins and 191 spins to trigger the Respins.

The game’s design is based on a mischievous and cartoonish take on a familiar hell theme. The 6x4 game grid is in the middle of the screen, set in an underworldly cave featuring infamous bad people such as Charles Manson and Saddam Hussein. If you want to boost the gaming experience for a cost, activate the Feature Buy button on the left side. All other buttons, including the Spin and Bet Size, can be found below the reels. You can play Hell Yeah on all mobile devices, desktops, and notepads. You create a winning combination by landing 3 or more of the same symbol types on adjacent reels starting at the leftmost reel.

The lower-paying symbols are 10, J, Q, K, and A. Landing 6 of the same symbol type pays between 1X and 1.5X. The higher-paying symbols are a blonde woman, Charles Manson, Saddam, a general, and the devil. Landing 6 of the same symbol type pays between 2X and 5X. Landing two of the higher-paying symbols pays between 0.2X to 1X the bet.

The game’s Wild Symbol has the design of a goat with the text “Wild.” The Collector Reel is displayed above the reels, where different types of Collector Symbols can land, with the design of an eye with horns. The Cash Symbol is a blue ghost with values ranging from 0.1X to 500X the bet, which can be collected and awarded by the Collector Symbols. Finally, the Scatter Symbol has the text “Bonus,” and landing 3 or more will trigger the Bonus Game. Let’s find out what kind of features this game has to offer.

Cash Collect

Two Collector Reels are positioned above the reels, and the following symbols can land on these:

Collector Symbols = Collect any Cash Symbols on the regular game grid. The Cash Symbols can land on reels with values ranging from 0.1X, 0.2X, 0.3X, 0.5X, 1X, 1.5X, 2X, 2.5X, 3X, 3.5X, 4X, 5X, 6X, 7X, 8X, 9X, 10X, 12X, 15X, 20X, 25X, 50X, 100X, 200X, 250X, or 500X the bet.

Multiplier Collector = Collect any Cash Symbols and applies a multiplier value of 1X to 10X.

Blank Symbol = Does not collect the Cash Symbols.

Respin

Whenever a Collector Symbol lands on both Collector Reels, they lock in place and triggers the Respin feature. During the feature, the regular game grid is transformed into only Cash Symbols or blank symbols. The Respins continue as long as at least one Cash Symbol lands in view. When the respins are over, you are awarded the total value twice, once by each collector.

If a Multiplier Collector is present when the respin is triggered, all Cash Symbols at the end are multiplied by the respective multiplier value.

Free Spins

This feature can be triggered by landing 3 or more Scatter Symbols during the Base Game. Depending on whether you land 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatter Symbols, award 5, 7, 9, or 11 Free Spins, respectively. Landing a Free Spin Symbol (Gates of Heaven) awards 1, 2, or 3 additional Free Spins.

Before the feature starts, you are presented with the Bonus Game, offering a chance to boost the number of Free Spins. Remember, you always have a chance to ”Collect” and go straight to the feature.

During the feature, only Cash and blank Symbols can land on the reels. The left Collector Reel stays locked throughout the round, and any multiplier values of 1X, 2X, or 3X that are shown on the right Collector Reels are added to it. All landed Cash Symbols get locked in place, and their value are collected and awarded when no more Free Spins remain.

Just like during the Base Game, the respins can be triggered when two Collector Symbols are displayed on the Collector Reels at once.

Blast

Triggers the Blast feature to play the game at a rapid pace and scaled-down design.

Final Thoughts on Hell Yeah

This game provides a cartoonish take on a familiar hell theme. We like the visuals of this Big Daddy Gaming release, offering sharp graphics and a humorous tone. The design might attract fans of a provocative theme, but the question is, can the gameplay keep them spinning the reels?

As mentioned in the Introduction, we’re offered a fun twist on the familiar Cash Collect feature. Here, we get two Collector Reels, where each landed Collector or Collector Multiplier collects all Cash Symbols up to 500X the bet in view. Obviously, the Collector Multiplier is the most powerful alternative, applying values up to 10X on all Cash Symbols, creating good win potential. Besides the Respin feature, the Free Spins are the game’s highlight, providing a persistent Collector Multiplier value, boosting the win potential significantly. Here, there are decent wins to be made, but it feels like we’ve seen it all before.

Overall, with sharp visuals and a fun vibe, we had a pleasant experience testing the game. However, with slightly below-average stats and familiar features, it didn’t provide the win potential we expected. With that said, we think the provocative theme might find its audience, but it will have a hard time creating long-term interest. If you want more from this provider, we recommend Legacy of Desperados and BonBon Boom!.

Hell Yeah is a slot that might find an audience due to its provocative theme and decent take on the Cash Collect mechanics, but it doesn’t have the firepower to compete with better games.
