This game provides a trip down memory lane when casino slots had few features and uncomplicated rules. Throw in a Bonus Wheel, and you get Good Olds 7’s. When we saw  NetEnt as the provider, we got excited and expected a game in line with previous releases such as Dead or Alive or Gonzo’s Quest, and perhaps this is our own fault, but we weren’t expecting this type of simplistic game. This is not a bad game, but it is definitely not the best from this provider, probably not even in the top 50. With that said, Good Old 7’s offers a nostalgic experience with a user-friendly interface and solid sound effects. 

While testing this game, there were some enjoyable moments, like when the Twin Reel got triggered, a feature we have previously seen in the game Twin Spin XXXtreme. This cloning feature generated some decent wins, especially if the Diamond Symbol created a win, but otherwise, we were constantly waiting for the Scatter Symbol to land on reel 5, triggering the Bonus Wheel. When this happened, the game peaked, with the chance of hitting 100X the bet, which is nice, but is that all? We were expecting more from this game in terms of excitement and features, but at the same time, it can appeal to players looking for that old-school casino vibe.

In terms of stats, the max win is on the low side, and the RTP, by default, is the industry average. As you can see, this game doesn’t offer a massive max win, but a hit frequency of 80% implies an eventful experience appealing to players who like a fast-paced game with a retro vibe.
