Bonus Game

Final Thoughts on Farmstead Fortune
Pocket Games Soft and its mobile-first releases can feel hit-or-miss to a lot of players, as while the studio usually delivers some okay releases, they may feel a bit bare-bones and leave a lot to be desired. Farmstead Fortune, visually, is a cozy and enjoyable farming-themed game, but it also doesn’t really try to stand out in a sea of similarly themed games, making it quite forgettable compared to games like Raging Rabbits or Lawn N’ Disorder. But, at the same time, we can’t fault the studio for wanting to lean back on a safe and casual setting.
As mentioned before, when it comes to gameplay, Farmstead Fortune’s main feature, while a bit unique and interesting, does take some inspiration from the Hold & Spin feature. But with some added mechanics, such as the Level Up and Multiplier Symbols, this feature is just a bit more interesting than your typical Coin Collecting Hold & Spin. However, we’re not really sure the bonus game is good enough to carry the game on its own, and with the introduction of the Mini Bonus, it kinda loses a bit of its charm. The main Bonus Game is a fun, explosively volatile feature thanks to its Special Symbols, and it’s the highlight of the game, while the Mini Bonus feels as if it exists just to break the monotony of regular spins.
Overall, Farmstead Fortune and its main Bonus Game make for a good casual experience, but we wish we had seen more potential in the Mini Bonus. Not to say that it is bad, just a bit lackluster, and, in some worst-case scenarios, it feels as if it’s delaying us to actually take part in the real feature of the game. Even so, we think many players will enjoy some simple spins, as the game also comes with a good stat line across the board and a fun goal of a max win of 10,000X the bet to chase down.
