Introduction to Raging Rabbits

Raging Rabbits is a casino slot from Indigo Magic where carrots have become sentient and set out to stop their number one rival, the rabbits. If you’ve ever played the game Plants vs Zombies, then you would know that plants are the perfect defensive front line against any would-be attacker, but here in Raging Rabbits, it’s actually the plants that are on the march against the military-like rabbits, which are decked out in explosives and guns. In gameplay, the Carrots act as a sort of bounty, as collecting them on the playing grid will award you with direct Cash Prizes, which can even payout the max win of 10,000X the bet, after a few Free Spins upgrades that is. To help with this, the rabbits will use their arsenal of weapons to both be able to open up the playing grid to 5x6 or trigger the random Carrot Throw bonus, which will give you a random amount of Carrots on the playing grid for a chance at hitting one of the Cash Prizes. So, gear up, soldier, as we’re defending the trenches from angry plants with pitchforks in hand.

Experience a Cash Prize Ladder game all about war against plants, where the biggest hits can instantly payout the max win. If your interest has been piqued, be sure to check out the Raging Rabbits demo.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts

Raging Rabbits is a video slot from Indigo Magic with 5 Reels, 3-6 rows, and 243 to 7,776 ways to win. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.6 and a Max.bet of 180. Raging Rabbits come with a slightly higher-than-average RTP of 96.22%, medium volatility, and a solid max win of 10,000X the bet.

You find yourself on the frontlines of a war between rabbits and alive, and very angry, carrots. You are on the rabbits’ side, sitting safely behind blockades, fences, and easter egg landmines. In the background, you can see a legion of massive carrots marching towards the trenches. You can play the game on most desktops, mobiles, and notepads.

The lower-paying symbols are J, Q, K, and A. Creating a win with 5 of the same symbols will pay out 1X to 4X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are a bucket of painting supplies, a bucket with brass knuckles, a muffin bomb, a chocolate easter bunny, and a rooster. Landing a win with 5 of the same symbols pays out 10X to 100X the bet. Then there are the Special Symbols, which include the WildScatter, and Carrot Symbols, with the latter having its own paytable, but more on that in the next section.

Wild Symbols

Wild Symbols help form winning combinations by being able to substitute for all symbols except Special Carrot and Scatter Symbols.

Carrot Prize Symbols

The Carrot Symbol is part of the Carrot Prize Ladder, and by landing 3 or more Carrot Symbols, you will be awarded a direct Cash Prize according to the Prize Ladder. In the base game, landing anything between 3 and 12+ Carrot Symbols will award you 2X to 1,000X the bet, which can then max out at 10X to 10,000X the bet during the bonus game. You can track the prizes on the Carrot Prize Ladder next to the playing grid.

Carrot Throws

Randomly, on any spin, a bunny may appear from behind the reels and add up to 12 Carrot Symbols onto the reels. This feature is both in the base game and the bonus game.

Expanding Reels

In the base and bonus game, Reel Expansions can happen randomly by a bunny with a weapon. Each reel expands individually, or in groups, by +1, +2, or +3 rows. In the base game, Expanded Reels reset between spins, but will be carried over if a Bonus Game is triggered.

Free Spins

By landing 3 Scatter Symbols, you will be awarded the Free Spins feature with 10 spins. During the bonus game, landing Carrot Symbols will upgrade the Carrot Prize Ladder, removing the lowest-paying prize and adding a new highest-paying prize, up to 3 upgrades, and all Expanded Reels stay sticky between spins.

Final Thoughts on Raging Rabbits

Raging Rabbits brings an attempt at a serious, military-like theme with an absurd twist, that being, that there’s a war between rabbits and plants. We can’t say that we hate it, and we think Indigo Magic actually kinda hit the nail on the head, which makes the game contrast all other seasonal Easter releases we saw around the same time, and is more akin to the silly themes of games like Crazy Crops and Farmtastic. Visually, the game sells its theme well, and it holds up graphically. While it’s definitely not all that fancy or looking too outdated, it just hits that middle ground, just good enough. But enough about themes and such, and let us instead discuss the gameplay.

Raging Rabbits is a game, at its core, about its Carrot Prizes, as it’s the best way to hit the occasional cash payout, but also the best way to reach the max win of 10,000X the bet. However, even so, the game has a surprisingly good paytable, which is almost needed, as it can be quite difficult to consistently hit Carrot Prizes, especially on the 5x3 playing grid, and, at least in our opinion, we feel that the game is a bit stingy with its randomly Expanding Reels, making it even harder to hit the bigger prizes. The Free Spins feature does make it all a bit easier if you’re lucky with the Expanding Reels, but it can ultimately fall to the same fate of being bound to the random activation. We enjoyed the game’s feature line-up and had fun spinning it, but sadly felt we could rely more on regular paylines for wins than actually engage with the features, and most of it came down to the Expanding Reels not being all that present, especially in the base game. But, in the end, we still think that Raging Rabbits does have a few good qualities, as long as you know what you’re going into, and we would say that Indigo Magic released a solid slot experience.

Raging Rabbits is a slot where you’re at war, and it’s up to you to hunt down Carrot Symbol bounties for Cash Prizes that can lead you to the max win of 10,000X the bet.
