Foxium has released plenty of remakes and sequels of its own games, always sticking to the same rules, so we weren't exactly expecting a breakthrough this time. Just like with Rome: Fight For Gold series and a few other titles that received their respective follow-ups, Dragons of Arcane Wild 2 feels like a quick turnaround of assets with the new elements added only to accommodate new mechanics. On its own, the game is definitely a pretty one, with polished graphics, detailed design, and plenty of cool effects; it's just the fact that we've seen it in a nearly identical form before that diminishes its attractiveness.
As pointed out above, the game loop offers a repetitive cycle of collecting Wisps (although by landing Collect symbols only in the corners) to win cash prizes and potentially trigger bonuses, as well as gathering drops from Wilds to upgrade the Bonus Game.
