Disturbed Slot Overview

Disturbed is a new casino slot from NoLimit City where we travel to some sort of mental institution, making it impossible for your mind not to wander off to one of NoLimit’s most prominent releases, Mental. It was a tremendous slot game with a terrifying setting, which allowed for a fitting max win of 66.666x the bet. Many games have max wins that no one ever really wins, but Mental sure isn’t one of them. Ebro and Jesuz, two of our streamers at Casinodaddy, won it, and so did many of our viewers. Looking at the features of this game, we are certain that max wins will be frequent, although not easy to obtain.

As a heavy metal fan, I, the writer, have to admit that the title of the game got me really excited. The product owner of the game, Lars Söderberg, seems to like the genre as well, so I had some sort of hope that NoLimit had actually created a game in collaboration with the band Disturbed. However, that was not the case. Nonetheless, it’s an extraordinary production both thematically and musically, so let’s see if the gameplay holds up!

Disturbed is a video slot from NoLimit City with 5 reels, a row setup of 4-2-4-2-4, and 256 payways. Players can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.2 and a Max.bet of 100. The game has a default RTP of 96.10%, but some operators might also use lower variants of 94.06% and 92.10%. As expected, Disturbed is played at very high volatility and can net a max win of 54391x the bet.

As we’ve come to expect from NoLimit City games, there are plenty of intriguing mechanics to help you in your visit to this frightening place. The features are Wild Symbol, Scatter Symbol, Enhancer Cells, Mrs. Nudge, Pre-Op Spins, Annihilation Spins, xBet, and Bonus Buys.

Disturbed Slot Information

Disturbed takes place in the demented clinic of Dr. Daniel Eath. A place where, according to NoLimit themselves, top-quality service often leaves patients breathless. Now, it might not be the sort of breathless you’d want going to a medical institution, but for us, not actually visiting it physically, it’s a breathtaking scene. Not breathtaking like a gorgeous sunset, but due to its incredibly sharp graphics and audio.

Disturbed can be played on all common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is created by landing 3 or more matching symbols on consecutive reels, starting from the leftmost reel.

The lower-paying symbols include various medical equipment. Five-of-a-kind with these pays 2x the bet. The higher-paying symbols consist of blood bags, trash cans, Ms Happ, Mr Facelift, and Dr Death. A winning combination of 5 with one of these pays 2.5x-10x the bet. There are also plenty of other symbols that activates various mechanics, but more on that in a bit!

Wild Symbol

Wild symbols enable more winning combinations by substituting for other paying symbols.

Scatter Symbol

Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols triggers either the Pre-Op spins or the Annihilation Spins. The latter is activated if all Enhancer Cells are lit.

Enhancer Cells

Each spin can light up to 4 Enhancer Cells. Underneath these, one of the following features will trigger:

xWays

A random position will be chosen, making that symbol count as more than one.

xSplit

xSplit splits (adds 1 extra symbol) on all positions in the same row. If an xWays symbol is split, an extra xWays symbol will be added.

Wild

A random position will become a regular Wild symbol.

Disturber

Landing a Disturber in an Enhancer Cell activates a re-spin. During the re-spin, the activated features are re-triggered. However, positions affected by xWays, Wilds, or split by xSplit do not reset.

Gravestones

Landing gravestones in all Enhancer Cells while simultaneously getting a stacked Dr.Death symbol on reel 3 triggers Angel of Death, which directly awards the max win of 54,391x the bet.

Mrs.Nudge

Mrs.Nudge can land on reel 3. She will always nudge to be fully visible. Each nudge increases the win multiplier by 1. Thus, it’s better to only land it in one position rather than getting the full reel right away.

Pre-Op Spins

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols awards 12, 15, or 20 Pre-Op Spins, respectively. During this bonus, a minimum of 1 Enhancer Cell will always be lit, and activating a Disturber grants an extra spin.

If an Executioner Scatter Symbol lands, the bonus turns into Annihilation Spins (Super Bonus) and awards +3 spins.

Annihilation Spins

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols with all Enhancer Cels lit activates 12, 15, or 20 Annihilation Spins, respectively. During Annihilation Spins, all Enhancer Cells are lit.

xBet

Activating the xBet comes at an extra cost of 100% the bet, guaranteeing the top left Enhancer Cell to be lit up and adding a Scatter Symbol to the first reel.

Bonus Buys

The following three bonus buys are up for grabs:

112x the bet = Triggers the Pre-Op Spins

666x the bet = Triggers the Annihilation Spins

250x the bet = Triggers either the Pre-Op Spins (75% chance) or the Annihilation Spins (25% chance).

‍

At first, we thought we had stumbled upon Mental 2. The theme is undoubtedly similar, and so is the grid. But digging into it, we realized that it wasn’t like Mental at all. Instead, it simply feels like a NoLimit game. What we mean by this is that a lot of mechanics and features, such as xWays and xSplit are familiar and give off a strong NoLimit vibe, but it’s hard to put a finger on a specific game that it’s similar to.

Some people might argue that the resemblance of plenty of other games shows a lack of creativity, but we choose to look at it differently. The fact that you instantly tell that Disturbed is a NoLimit game proves how strong of a brand they’ve built. And most importantly, you recognize it because of the good-looking, unique frame, insane potential, and beloved features.

We don’t know how good this game will hold up compared to the likes of Mental and San Quentin, but we predict it to be a hit, and we are certainly looking forward to the release!

Disturbed by NoLimit City has all the hallmarks to become another NoLimit classic.
