In 2019, Pragmatic released The Dog House, settling the dogs vs cats debate in the slot scene. Although Snowborn did a good job with the first Cat Clans, it didn’t quite reach that level. After that, Pragmatic kept releasing Dog House sequels, cementing a first place for the dogs. But cats are sneaky creatures, and they are about to make a claim. Let’s see if Cat Clans 2 can nudge them in the right direction.

Despite not many changes being made, Cat Clans 2 is certainly a step up from its predecessor. The Mad Respins feature is a nice touch and makes the base game more enjoyable. It’s nothing groundbreaking though. We’ve seen a similar one in Top Dawg$, but we don’t mind since it’s a well-made mechanic. 

As in most slot games, the Free Spins are the bread and butter. Although similar to the bonus in the first version, the fact that you can get up to 5 Free Spins changes a lot and gives the game way more potential. A lot of work has also been done to the visuals, and it’s frankly a terrific graphical production from Snowborn, an aspect where they truly shine. 

Despite the game’s charming frame and fun gameplay, it lacks creativity. Not much has changed since last time around, but we’ll probably visit our feline friends when the game is released anyway.
