The game clearly builds on the original Area Link Dragon, keeping the same core respin mechanics and dragon-filled chaos, while sprinkling in a few extra upgrades to make things feel fresher. The problem is that the upgrade is pretty small. You can now, if you’re really lucky, trigger a purple and pink dragon upgrade on the same spin, and play the respin feature on 4 grids, while you can play it on a maximum of 2 grids in the forerunner.
