Introduction to Anaconda Gold
Anaconda Gold is a casino slot from Pragmatic Play, set in the deep jungles of Mesoamerica, where a mighty serpent guards treasures left behind by an ancient civilization. A lonely temple, as impressive as it was when it served as the gathering place for the Aztec tribes, stands tall in the wilderness, waiting for brave explorers to scour its corridors for riches worth up to 10,000x the bet. To find the path to the chambers filled with legendary artifacts, you'll need to arrange blocks into correct combinations on a 6-reel panel, which can grow from 4 to 8 rows in height. Watch out for the giant tiles that may drop anytime and crush anything underneath them, and keep utmost attention to the Anaconda that lurks between the symbols. Once the snake emerges, follow its tracks to find matching symbols and valuable coins left in its wake.
To learn Anaconda's habits and be better prepared for when it appears on the reels, you can try out the demo mode we've made available at the top of this page.

Theme, Gameplay & Payouts
Anaconda Gold is a video slot from Pragmatic Play with 6 reels, 4-8 rows, and up to 262,144 ways to win. The range of available betting options allows for selection from multiple levels, starting from a Min.bet of 0.2, which makes the game quite affordable, up to a Max.bet of 240, suitable for high-rollers. The engine runs on a default RTP of 96.54%, with two lower variants of 95.53% and 94.50% also released for the operators, so be sure to keep an eye on what version you're playing. Because of the highly volatile profile, the distribution of payouts may deliver more valuable hits less often. You will experience a base hit frequency of 17.30%, with a max win of 10,000x the bet achievable at an average rate of 1 in 2,583,979 spins. It takes roughly 282.13 spins to trigger the bonus round.
A massive Aztec temple towers above the base game view, standing proudly in all its glory in the middle of a lush jungle. It must have been abandoned a long time ago, as thick vines, moss, and all other kinds of plantlife cover it from top to bottom. This undisturbed exterior creates an aura of mystery, and the sanctuary's majestic outlook stands as an eternal proof of the legendary craftsmanship of the civilization that raised it. The entire setting feels somewhat peaceful, yet also heralds something intense in the air with Anaconda's eyes lurking from the game's logo. If you're ready to find out what it is, you can launch the game on any modern device, whether you prefer to play on a desktop, a smartphone, or a tablet.
The paytable carries three distinct sets of symbols, which are responsible for awarding payouts whenever at least 3 matching ones settle on neighboring reels, starting from the left side of the panel. Among the low-paying icons, you'll recognize four simple tiles with images of a lizard, a fish, a turtle, and a bird, awarding 0.3x the bet for aligning 5 on a winning way. More elaborate blocks depicting a snake, a frog, a monkey, and a represent the mid-paying symbols, delivering payouts worth 0.8x the bet for a complete 6-of-a-kind combination. The most valuable icons take the form of a flower, an eagle, a male Aztec warrior, and an Aztec queen, awarding between 2x and 3x the bet when you match them across all 6 reels.
Alongside regular icons, there are also Wilds represented by a golden Aztec mask, Scatters in the form of a woman's silhouette against a temple, Money symbols appearing as a sun disc, and an Anaconda symbol.
Special Features & Slot Mechanics
What is the max win in the slot Anaconda Gold?
You can win up to 10,000x the bet.
What features are available in the slot Anaconda Gold?
The features are Cascading & Grid Increase, Expanding Wild, Giant Symbols, Cash Collect, Anaconda, Free Spins, and Feature Buy.

Cascading & Grid Increase
The cascading feature, or tumbling, as Pragmatic Play calls it, comes into play each time you hit a winning combination. This is followed by the winning symbols being removed from the grid and causing all the remaining ones to drop to vacant positions. New icons then come down from the top to take their place and complete the view. This process continues until no new wins can be created. Additionally, after each tumble, the grid’s size increases by 1 row, up to a maximum of 8. The height returns to the default 4 rows at the beginning of every new base game spin.
Expanding Wild
Wilds appear on reels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, and they substitute for all regular symbols during win evaluation. Additionally, they may randomly expand downward, turning all positions underneath them into Wilds.
Giant Symbols
All standard paying symbols may drop in an oversized variant: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, or 6x6. Every time a giant block lands, it crushes all the single tiles underneath it until it reaches the bottom of the grid or another Giant Symbol.
Cash Collect
Sun discs are Money symbols that carry cash values worth 1x-10x, 25x, 50x, or 100x the bet. When a Collect symbol lands on the grid, it gathers all prizes from Money symbols and awards their total as the multiplication of the active bet.

Anaconda
When two Anaconda symbols appear on the grid at the same time, they will activate once all tumbles have finished, and they will connect, turning all symbols in their path into matching icons or Money symbols. If positions turn into Money symbols, then the last Anaconda will transform into a Collect symbol to guarantee the triggering of Cash Collect.
Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters anywhere on the grid during the same base game spin activates 10, 15, 20, or 25 free spins, respectively. During the game, the grid does not increase with each consecutive tumble, but instead needs 3 to happen any time to grow by 1 row. Additionally, it does not reset to the original 6x4 size between spins. Another set of 3-6 Scatters awards a retrigger with 10-25 extra spins.
Feature Buy
In Anaconda Gold, you can purchase access to the free spins bonus directly by paying a fixed buy-in of 100x the bet. The round will be triggered with a random number of between 3 and 6 Scatters.
Final Thoughts on Anaconda Gold
After giving Anaconda Gold even a few spins, it’s hard not to compare it to ELK Studios’ Gold series. Even the title doesn’t exactly try to conceal the fact that the game is built on multiple elements from the Swedish provider’s fan-favorite saga starring the intrepid adventurer Kane. Whether you put it next to the initial Ecuador Gold release or any of the others, the similarities are indisputable. The 6x4 grid growing to 6x8, offering up to 262,144 ways, and giant symbols up to 6x6 in size are the core features shared by most of those installments, and they make up much of the gameplay in Anaconda Gold as well. Pragmatic Play has also been heavily relying on Money symbols in all shapes and forms in its productions in recent years and decided to incorporate them here as well, so we get a classic cash collection mechanism woven into the setup. To top it all off, there's the Anaconda feature, which transforms all positions on a trail between the two special symbols into matching instances, potentially also resulting in triggering the cash collect. That, however, also bears some resemblance to the features from ELK's Gold series, namely Eye of Tiki from Tahiti Gold, where cells between two special symbols got destroyed instead. All those elements work together pretty well, offering dynamic gameplay boosted by opportunities for collecting cash, but the extensive use of this model by another studio somewhat diminishes the excitement factor.
Visually, Pragmatic somehow managed to make the theme look a bit too garish in our opinion, especially in the symbol area. Everything seems a tad too bright and too saturated, which in some way strips the theme of its intensity, mystery, and ancient sublimity. Luckily, the elaborate background depicting an impressive temple and a soundtrack rich in tribal notes provide a proper counterbalance. Despite some of the symbol designs being on the verge of falling into the neon category, it's a pleasant setting altogether.
Anaconda Gold may be a fresh addition to Pragmatic's portfolio, but its copycat identity is apparent despite subtle additions introduced to the gameplay.
