Interview with Major Dream Drop Jackpot Winner Thrince

Many online slot machines offer genuinely impressive max wins these days, some even reaching a staggering 500,000x the bet, like the Tombstone Slaughter: El Gordo's Revenge by Nolimit City. However, progressive jackpots that go into millions still remain the most tempting prizes you can find in the gambling world. Such life-changing hits are massively rare, though; that's why the suppliers of such a feature introduce several lower thresholds with smaller, but still significant amounts. Dream Drop by Relax Gaming is one of those network jackpots that also comes with a Major prize, usually falling just under €50,000.

So far, since May 2022, when the Dream Drop feature was launched, over 300 lucky players have landed such a payday. What's more, just recently, a member of our growing community, a user nicknamed thrince, joined that group with his amazing hit of SEK 550,946.83 (approx. €49,866.39) on Print Studio's Holy Hand Grenade 2 Dream Drop. It's one thing to see the jackpot suddenly reset inside the game, signifying that someone has won it, but it's a whole other story when someone actively present on our forums lands it. For some reason, it feels more within reach then. We reached out to the winner to ask some questions about this fantastic moment.

Hi Thrince, and massive congratulations on hitting the Dream Drop Major Jackpot. We're sure it was a thrilling moment to see that goat reveal the prize. What were you doing when it landed? Just at the PC in the comfort of your own home or somewhere on the go on a mobile device?

Thrince: Thank you so much! I didn't even notice that it landed to be honest. I've played quite a bit of Dream Drop games before and the highest I have hit is the Midi which is normally around 30 to 100 Euros. I was sitting at my PC spinning by clicking. I deposited 700SEK (65 Euro) to start with and won up on some other slots and decided to try the new Holy Hand Grenade. I did not even have the Dream Drop in mind.

Was there a pinch of disappointment that it wasn't the Mega Jackpot? Or you're focusing entirely on the positive that you managed to hit one of the prizes at all?

Thrince: No disappointment at all, as I said in the earlier question the DD was not even on my mind.

How often do you play jackpot games? Or in general for real money, for that matter?

Thrince: I don't normally play jackpot games, it happens from time to time that I jump on to a DD game. Depending on how it is going, if i have done withdrawals I might play a bit more than I normally would. I would say 1-2 times a week normally, small deposits of 20-60 Euro at a time.

Is Dream Drop your favorite jackpot network that you choose regularly, or was this just a one-off lucky shot?

Thrince: I don't play jackpot slots normally, it happens now and then that i do like 100 spins and then move on or log out.

Why Holy Hand Grenade 2? Is there something particular about that game that you were drawn to, or did you pick a random Dream Drop slot to play?

Thrince: I wanted to try the new HH2 since I liked the previous one and wanted to try it out.

How many spins did you play on Holy Hand Grenade 2 before you hit the jackpot?

Thrince: Uhm good question. Somewhere between 50 and 100 spins I believe.

Is this the first jackpot you've ever won? Do you have any other significant hits in regular gameplay on your record?

Thrince: I have won a jackpot on a Novomatic slot once before, it was 1000 Euro on a 1 Euro bet.

Any particular plans for what to do with the money, if that's not a secret?

Thrince: Pay off some debts (which i now have), looking around for a suitable house that is not too expensive (planned to buy a house before this win).

Are you going to keep trying to land more jackpots in the future, or do you feel like landing one is fortunate enough?

Thrince: As it is right now I'm going to stay away from gambling for a while. I will probably jump on a DD game or some other jackpot in the future, you never know you might get lucky again.

Thank you for joining us in this quick Q&A. We wish you many more wins in the future!
