Interactive Release Timeline

Originally founded in 2014 in Australia under the name Chance Interactive, the studio renamed itself to ReelPlay in 2019, around the same time it linked up with Relax Gaming, a partnership that would help shape both providers. Although ReelPlay is quite a bit smaller studio, they quickly started gaining traction after their rebranding, redebuting with the game El Dorado Infinity Reels, which came with the studio’s arguably most famous feature, the titular Infinity Reels. At the time of release, Infinity Reels was the hottest thing around, and we even saw ReelPlay license it out to other slot developers, as seen with NetEnt’s release of Gods of Gold Infinity Reels. While we don’t see Infinity Reels as much anymore, we have to say that this feature really marked the studio on the map and helped them become what they are today.
ReelPlay Slot Releases
Although ReelPlay became famous for its many Infinity Reels games, as seen with games we reviewed like Money Mariachi Infinity Reels and its sequel Money Mariachi Fiesta Infinity Reels, the studio didn’t stop developing new mechanics right there, as later seen with Infinity Pays. ReelPlay has continued to release new and exciting games as time goes on; however, in the last few years, we’ve seen a trend of releasing new versions of existing games sporting different types of mechanics, with features including Dream Drop, Big Bang, 10K Ways, and GigaBlox.
This Australian studio consistently proved itself to be filled with creativity and had a strive to develop unforgettable slot experiences that players still play and love today. However, even though they have continued to release games over the years, we feel a bit saddened by the fact that their strive for change has stagnated, with them now more interested in rereleases featuring some big-name mechanics, along with the occasional original release here and there. However, that doesn’t mean that the games aren’t great visually or come packed with fun features, as we do believe just about every player can find a game in their portfolio that suits them.
