Describing itself as “Built Different”, Jinx Gaming was founded in 2024, and while being a newcomer to the industry, the people behind it aren’t. The studio was formed when a group of creative industry veterans decided that enough was enough, and that the iGaming market had grown stale from regurgitated mechanics and too many Greek Gods, which we all know too well. With those words, Jinx Gaming had the idea of drawing inspiration for its slot games from other media, such as video games, old-school cartoons, and music, to create unique feeling casino-like experiences. When the studio debuted with its first game, Dead Headz, in late 2025, it had teamed up with Hacksaw Gaming to publish the game on their OpenRGS, which we might be seeing more of in Jinx Gaming’s future.
Jinx Gaming Slot Releases
Jinx Gaming debuted in 2025 with the release of Dead Headz, a zombie-themed slot release with a bit of a unique gameplay loop. This game introduces the Shoot & Loot mechanic in its bonus game, in which you’ll be shooting waves of zombies for Cash Prizes and Multipliers, and we would guess this mechanic was inspired by games such as DOOM or The House of the Dead series. After this release, Jinx Gaming launched Jumpasaurs!, a pixel-art game inspired by 80s and 90s classics like Super Mario and Yoshi’s Island, with a tinge of classic casino symbols. Here, Dinosaurs will jump out of pipes between spins, activating the corresponding reels to trigger Mystery Symbols and more. As of writing, Jinx Gaming has yet to release any other games, but we’re excited to see what they do next.
Final Thoughts on Jinx Gaming
While it has been around since 2024, Jinx Gaming didn’t properly step up to the podium until late 2025 with its debut release; however, it is a studio that we have been keeping a close eye on for quite a while. We’re always in the market for some new and interesting studios to sweep in from out of nowhere and take the market by storm, and Jinx Gaming has been on our radar because of that. While we would say it had a bit of a slow start, it has finally picked up steam. With its partnership with Hacksaw Gaming and its OpenRGS, we think Jinx Gaming will quickly find its place in the industry, and we’re very excited to see it evolve.
