Introduction to Monopoly Megapots

Monopoly Megapots is a casino slot from Big Time Gaming featuring a common slot theme. Several game developers have made games based on the classic board game Monopoly, and Big Time Gaming has once again produced some Megaways reels for the smartly dressed Monopoly man in a high hat. The sister company, Red Tiger Gaming, has also released several games lately, including Monopoly Rent Rush and Monopoly Cash is King.

The game comes with two bonus games: A classic Free Spin feature with an increasing multiplier and a Hold and Spin feature where a fantastic prize of 88,888x the bet lurks around the corner.

Theme, Gameplay, and Payouts

Monopoly Megapots is a video slot from Big Time Gaming featuring 6 reels with between 2 and 7 rows on each spin. With the maximum number of rows, you’ll have 117,649 ways to make wins. The Min.bet is 0.1, and the Max.bet is 10. The game has high volatility, a solid RTP of 96.45%, and a great max win of 98,850x the bet.

The game doesn’t have a game board design like some other Monopoly slots. Instead, it has a discrete red background with sketched buildings. The reels sit in the middle of the screen, and above them is a display of the Megapot prizes. To make a win, you need to land 3 or more matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting on the first reel to the left. The extra horizontal reel below the regular reels adds an extra symbol to the reel directly below it on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. The game is available on mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers.

The lower-paying symbols in Monopoly Megapots are 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A. They pay between 0.4x and 0.6x the bet for wins of 6 symbols. The higher-paying symbols are dogs, cars, ships, and hats. They will give you between 0.8x and 10x the bet for a 6-of-a-kind win. The Wild Symbol substitutes all symbols except the Scatter, Coin, House, and Card Symbols.

Hold and Spin Feature

Reactions

When you get a win, the winning symbols disappear as part of a reaction. New symbols then fall down from above on the reels, while the extra reel brings in new symbols from the right. A reaction continues until no more wins are made.

Wild Symbol

The wild symbol can replace most other symbols to help complete winning combinations. However, it does not substitute for Coin, House, Card, or Scatter symbols. Wilds only appear in the extra reel.

Hold and Spin

If you land 6 or more coins, houses, or cards anywhere on the reels, the Hold and Spin feature is triggered. Each coin has a bonus value depending on how many symbols are in that reel. You can win up to 10x with 2 or 3 symbols, up to 5.5x with 4 or 5 symbols, and up to 3x with 6 or more symbols. These coin prizes are only awarded during Hold and Spin.

Coins, houses, and cards do not appear in the extra reel, except during the Hold and Spin feature. The feature starts with 3 respins. During it, each symbol on the screen acts as its own reel and can reveal more coins, houses, or cards. Every time a new symbol appears, the respin counter resets to 3.

If you get four houses, they combine into a hotel and collect all coins on the screen. A multiplier between x2 and x200 is then added to each position that becomes free. If a coin lands on a position with a multiplier, its value is increased by that amount.

Three matching blue, red, or purple cards combine to form Mini, Midi, or Mega Megapots icons. Landing three matching Megapots icons awards the corresponding jackpot prize.

Megapots

Mini, Midi, and Mega Megapots are shown above the reels and contain random prize values that change with every spin. These jackpots can only be won during the Hold and Spin feature. The Mini Megapots range from 100x to 300x the bet. The Midi Megapots range from 1,000x to 8,888x, while the Mega Megapots range from 20,888x to 88,888x your bet.

Free Spins

Landing 3 or more scatter symbols anywhere on the reels awards 10 free spins. Each additional scatter gives you 2 extra free spins. Scatters normally do not appear in the extra reel, except during free spins.

The feature comes with a special unlimited win multiplier. It starts at 1 and increases by 1 every time a coin, house, or card appears. This multiplier does not apply to winnings from the Hold and Spin feature and is not affected by coins that appear during that feature.

During free spins, scatters only appear in the extra reel. Landing 3 scatters gives 5 extra free spins, while 4 scatters give 10 extra free spins.

Feature Buy

You can buy 10 free spins for 100x the bet, or trigger the Hold and Spin feature for 35x the bet.

Final Thoughts on Monopoly Megapots

Monopoly Megapots is like inviting Mr. Monopoly over for a game night with the intent of having him shower you with coins. The game mixes the familiar charm of the classic board game with the chaos of Megaways, creating a slot that feels both nostalgic and unpredictable. One moment you’re casually collecting small wins, and the next you’re staring at a screen full of coins, houses, and cards, wondering if you’re about to hit something massive or just get politely escorted to prison without passing “Go”.

The gameplay is easy enough to understand, even if the features sometimes feel like they’re hosting their own little party. As in most Megaways games, you can trust the Reactions to keep things lively, and the Free Spins crank up the tension with that ever-growing multiplier. The Hold and Spin feature feels like the Free Spins' younger sibling, but it can absolutely surprise with the amazing 88,888x Megapot prize.

Monopoly Megapots from Big Time Gaming is a fun, feature-packed slot that blends classic vibes with modern mechanics.
