Introduction to Miner's Combo
Miner's Combo is a casino slot from Trigger Button Studios that takes you mining for gold with a rather eccentric miner. Trigger Button Studios is a relatively small development studio founded in 2022 that quickly partnered with Relax Gaming and its Silver Bullet platform. Thanks to this, we’ve seen a handful of pretty interesting releases such as Mister Payman and Robin In The Hood. However, Miner’s Combo isn’t really on the same level, as both its theme and gameplay loop leave a lot to be desired. Gameplay-wise, the game centers on its Miner Symbols, which can award Cash Prizes and trigger Respins. One unique point about the game is its Respin Patterns, which come in one of three predefined bonuses, either as Wilds, Top Symbols, or Multiplier Symbols, and these are also present in the semi-3-Pot mechanic Free Spins feature, which we will go more in-depth about later. But, even so, Miner’s Combo is a rather simple release with a strange combination of features and a rather low max win of 3,000X the bet.
Trigger Button Studios takes us deep underground alongside an eccentric miner with a fondness for explosives and Bonus Patterns when it comes to the game’s features.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts
Miner's Combo is a video slot from Trigger Button Studios with 5 Reels, 5 Rows, and 15 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.2 and a Max.bet of 50. Miner’s Combo comes with an average RTP of 96.15%, a hit frequency of 28.73%, medium volatility, and a low max win of 3,000X the bet. However, do take note that the game comes in multiple versions with lower RTPs at 94.14%, 92.05%, and 86.13%.
As mentioned, the game is set in an underground mine, with the playing grid built into a wooden entrance. Needless to say, this is a pretty standard setting when it comes to the theme, and sadly, there isn’t much here to really leave an impression. You can play the game on most mobiles, desktops, and notepads.
The lower-paying symbols are J, Q, K, and A. Creating a win with 5 of the same symbols will pay out 1.5X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are a spade, a hard hat, a bottle of whiskey, dynamite, and a gold cart. Landing a win with 5 of the same symbols pays out 1.5X to 5X the bet. Then we have the Special Symbols, which include Wilds, Miners, Cash Prizes, and Multiplier Wilds, but more on these in the next section.
Special Features & Mechanics
What is the max win in the slot Miner's Combo?
You can win up to 3,000X the bet.
What features are available in the slot Miner's Combo?
The features are Wild Symbols, Miner Cash Prizes, Miner Respins, Free Spins, and Feature Buy.

Wild Symbols
Wild Symbols help form winning combinations by being able to substitute for all other regular paying symbols.
Miner Cash Prizes
When a Miner Symbol appears, it has a chance to randomly award a Cash Prize, ranging from 1X to 100X.
Miner Respins
When a Miner Symbol appears, it has a chance to trigger the Respins feature, starting out by sketching out one of three Respin patterns, and they are as follows:
Top Symbols Pattern = Adds 9 high-paying Gold Cart Symbols to pre-defined positions.
Wilds Pattern = Adds 5 regular Wild Symbols onto pre-defined positions.
Multiplier Wilds Pattern = Adds 5 Multiplier Wild Symbols onto pre-defined positions, coming with a random value of 2X to 20X.
During the Respins, when one of the patterns is placed on the playing grid, each spin will move said pattern one step to the left, and the respins continue until no more patterns are on the playing grid. Miner Symbols can continue to appear, having a chance to award additional patterns.
Free Spins
There are 3 types of Scatters, including Wild, Multiplier Wild, and Gold Cart Scatters, and by landing 3 Scatter Symbols, you will be awarded the bonus game with the corresponding Respin pattern. The bonus game plays exactly like the Respins, continuing to spin until all patterns are removed from the playing grid, which ends the feature. Up to 3 additional patterns can be awarded during the Free Spins bonus game.

Feature Buy
Through the Feature Buy, you can instantly trigger a bonus game for a price based on the current bet.
20X = Awards the Free Spins with a Wild Pattern.
40X = Awards the Free Spins with a Top Symbol Pattern.
60X = Awards the Free Spins with a Multiplier Wild Pattern.
200X = Awards the Free Spins with all 3 Patterns active.
Final Thoughts on Miner's Combo
Trigger Button Studios has shown before that they are capable of delivering interesting and fun releases, usually with a small twist or two. However, Miner’s Combo, from its visuals and theme, is as basic as it can get, with no twists or spectacles to really stand out from the hundreds of previously released games with similar themes. While we can argue that it doesn’t need to be the most original or unique release out there, Miner’s Combo doesn’t really have the gameplay to carry the rest of the game, meaning it’s rather forgettable the second you stop playing.
When it comes to gameplay, Miner’s Combo finds itself with a bit of a strange mix of features, as in a few of them, such as the Respins Patterns, are kinda cool, while others, such as the Cash Feature, feel like an afterthought. Then we have the strange case of the Respins and Free Spins features, as they are both centered on the Patterns and play nearly identically. We’re not really sure why this is, as there is very little difference between them, just that one has a chance to trigger from a Miner Symbol and the other from Scatter Symbols. But, even so, they play well enough, as while they may not be the most volatile or interesting feature, they can offer a few fun spins if you hit multiple Patterns at the same time. All in all, Miner’s Combo is not the most impressive release, but even with its strange feature combinations and not-so-impressive stats, it can be an okay experience for a few spins.
Miner’s Combo is a rather basic Mining-themed release with an interesting idea on paper when it comes to its Respin Patterns, which works, at best, okay in practice.
