We have to say we really liked what they did with the theme, and the visuals are on point, which we have to give them credit for, as they help immerse and engage us when we spin. However, to have some good spins, we also have to have some good features, so let’s talk about those.
When it comes to gameplay, Great Game Rockies does a lot with its average-sized playing grid, as it feels that something happens on just about every other spin, be it a solid paylines or a Hunt feature. The Hunting Season feature is a great bonus that we truly liked and thought added a lot of nuance through its Star system, as we felt we spent quite a bit looking at the quality and stars of our soon-to-be transformed Animal Symbols. It’s hard to describe, but Hacksaw Gaming has developed a great feature that we wish we could see explored more in future releases. Then, the Free Spins feature is what you would expect, bringing in more bonuses to make each tier more volatile than the previous one, where, in our opinion, the Star-Upgrade system in the Free Bird bonus game is the clear winner.
