Introduction to Crypto Crown 20
Crypto Crown 20 is a casino slot from Avatar UX that is based around various Crypto coins. Before getting too deep into the game, we want to point out that this game is part of a bit of a weird bundle of games using the same name and theme, with the first release being Crypto Crown 40, and subsequent releases being Crypto Crown 10 and Crypto Crown 5. We’re not really sure why Avatar UX is so interested in rereleasing the same game over and over in such a short time between each other, but that’s just the scenario we’re in now. Here in Crypto Crown 20, we see the same gameplay loop as its prequel, that being a base game with Expanding Wild Symbols and high-paying Scatter Symbols, with a random Jackpot Minigame bonus game and a Gamble mechanic. These features come together to form a rather straightforward game that feels akin to classic fruit slots, but at least with some juicy Jackpots that can pay out the max win of 5,000X the bet.
Spin away and try out the Gamble mechanics to turn any small win into something big, or try to trigger the randomly activated Jackpot minigame. If you want to check out the game for yourself, be sure to check out the Crypto Crown 20 demo.

Theme, Gameplay & Payouts
Crypto Crown 20 is a video slot from Avatar UX with 5 Reels, 3 Rows, and 20 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.1 and a Max.bet of 300. Crypto Crown 20 comes with a slightly higher-than-average RTP of 96.20%, a hit frequency of 22.05%, and medium/high volatility, which are relatively balanced stats, with an okay max win of 5,000X the bet.
When you enter the game, you find yourself in a dim room that is lit by purple and pink neon lights, which is where all the Crypto business goes down. The playing grid isn’t much to mention here, as everything is rather basic, even the symbols themselves being either various Crypto coins, or neon fruit symbols. You can play the game on most notepads, mobiles, and desktops.
The lower-paying symbols are the neon fruits, ranging from plum, watermelon, lemon, and cherries. Creating a win with 5 of the same symbols will pay out 7.5X the bet. The high-paying symbols are various crypto coins, ranging from Doge Coin, L Coin, Diamond Coin, and Bitcoin. Landing a win with 5 of the same symbols pays out 10X to 250X the bet. The Special Symbols are the Expanding Wild Symbols, the Star and Diamond Scatter Symbols, and the various symbols in the Jackpot Minigame, but more on that later.

Final Thoughts on Crypto Crown 20
When we covered Crypto Crown 40, which was only released a month prior, we said that the mix of Crypto, Fruit Slots, and techno music might sound cool on paper, but actually playing the game, we felt like Avatar UX didn’t seem to care about making a fun game. Visually, the game is the most basic crypto theme we probably could’ve gotten, with dim neon lights in a computer room as a background, and symbols of various crypto coins. What doesn’t help Avatar UX’s case is that all of its Crypto Crown games are mostly the same, with the biggest difference, visually, being the color scheme and the size of the playing grid. But let us move over to the gameplay section and discuss the gameplay in a bit more depth.
Starting with the stats, we have a slightly higher-than-average RTP of 96.20%, a hit frequency of 22.05%, and an okay max win of 5,000X the bet. As mentioned before, the gameplay loop in this game is very basic, with the most engaging wins in the base game coming from Star and Diamond Scatter Pays or multiple Expanded Wilds. We do, however, want to give Avatar UX some praise for the Gamble mechanic, as even though not every player is a fan of these additional mechanics, and this one might even be seen as a shoehorn in attempt to make things interesting, but we do think that it has struck a nice balance of only being able to gamble the common low payouts. Then we get to the Jackpot minigame, which was probably supposed to be the saving grace, but there is no real engagement when the bonus game plays like a scratch-off lottery ticket with some bombs and upgrades, the latter of which are actually somewhat interesting. All in all, Crypto Crown 20 is very much like its sibling Crypto Crown games and follows a line of disappointing releases from a studio we usually feel has the potential to deliver great things.
Crypto Crown 20 is a slot that wants to be Crypto Bros' next favorite slot game, but falls flat right out of the gate from lacking visuals, gameplay, and engagement past its Crypto Coin Symbols.
