Final Thoughts on Bust a Nut
From the get-go, as we had mentioned earlier, Bust a Nut feels like a strange Hacksaw Game release, as it really reminds us of the Le series, and we think that mostly comes down to the Smokey the Raccoon copy. But that isn’t to say that no other studio can create a mean-looking mammal as its mascot, even though we did want to point it out. Outside of that, Bust a Nut is a fun, mining-themed game with a nutty twist that also aims to provoke reactions from its name and white-splattered logo. If we move away from that part and look at the game as it is, visually, it looks great, and we can’t deny that the theme is pretty fun and is arguably one of the highlights of the game.
Moving over to the gameplay, we have a rather basic, but well-paying base game, thanks to the Multiplier Wild Symbols and good paytable, but that isn’t the star of the show. The Free Spins bonus game is somewhat of a more interesting Coin Collector bonus, as here, instead of collecting Cash Prizes, we’re looking for Bet Multipliers on each reel. While the Booster Symbols are somewhat basic, they serve their purpose and can quickly stack out of control for some solid payouts.
