Introduction to Book Of Madness Deluxe
Book of Madness Deluxe is a casino slot from Gamomat that brings together a beloved formula with a horror theme. The original Book of Madness was released in 2019, and since then, we’ve seen plenty of sequels and spinoffs, such as Book of Madness 2 in 2025. While the “Book of” formula has been around for a couple of decades now, it’s still very popular and beloved, however, it’s rare that we see much innovation or difference between releases, and Book of Madness Deluxe is a perfect example of that. While being titled the Deluxe version of the series, Book of Madness Deluxe looks and plays quite a lot like its predecessors, with a feature lineup that resembles that of a decade-old game. But it’s not all bad, as Gamomat has created a compelling horror theme with an asylum setting filled with werewolves, zombies, and some pretty volatile wins, up to the max win of 10,751X the bet.
Gamomat delivers on a modern revamp in a Deluxe sequel to the 2019 release, Book of Madness, sporting the same gameplay loop but with new wins to be found.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts
Book of Madness Deluxe is a video slot from Gamomat with 5 Reels, 3 Rows, and allows you to choose between 5 or 10 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.1 and a Max.bet of 100. Book of Madness Deluxe comes with an average RTP of 96.15%, high volatility, and a max win of 10,751X the bet.
Book of Madness Deluxe, just like its many predecessors, is set inside a haunted asylum, filled with monsters. Over the series, we’ve seen a wide range of creatures inhabit the asylum, and this time around, we’re met by werewolves and zombie nurses. You can play the game on most notepads, mobiles, and desktops.
The lower-paying symbols are J, Q, K, and A. Creating a win with 5 of the same symbols will pay out 10X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are a syringe, a bloodbag, a bed, a werewolf, and a zombie nurse. Landing a win with 5 of the same symbols pays out 25X to 500X the bet. The Special Symbols are the Wild / Scatter Symbol, and whichever randomly chosen Bonus Symbol that shows up in the Free Spins, but more on that in the next section.

Final Thoughts on Book Of Madness Deluxe
Just as we said in our review for Book of Madness II, the “Book of” formula seems to be immortal and will never die, nor will it probably be innovated enough to shake up the entire genre, as it has stayed the same for more than two decades. This means that whenever we see a new “Book of” release slide cross our desk, we aren’t exactly the most excited, as they’ll usually lean into being the exact same copy-and-paste model that we’ve seen so many times before. However, one point for Gamomat t is that at least the Book of Madness series has some charm and a pretty interesting theme, but it just isn’t enough to make us look past the old-school casino cabinet gameplay loop.
This gameplay loop is the same format that has been on repeat year after year, and there is very little difference between Book of Madness Deluxe and its predecessors, not counting its strange spinoffs. Gamomat tried to add a bit more options with the new Ante Bet, Feature Buy, and Gamble mechanics, but these aren’t exactly new and were available in “Book of” games over a decade ago. This brings us back to the same point that the title “deluxe” doesn’t really mean much when the game plays and feels like an old classic, so Book of Madness Deluxe already feels outdated on release. But, if you are a classic enjoyer or “Book of” aficionado, there might be a few fun spins here, especially, as we said before, Gamomat does deliver on a pretty interesting theme and setting, that is, if horror is your thing.
Book of Madness Deluxe is a sequel to the 2019 Book of Madness series from Gamomat, delivering on a few new visuals and mechanics, while keeping to the same classic “Book of” gameplay loop.
