Book of Loki

The first thing that drew my attention to this game was the theme itself, even if it is one of the classic sacred book ones. This one offers us at least a different and unique style. The game provided for us by 1x2 Gaming is called the Book of Loki and is based on the Nordic god of trickery. The game offers us 5 reels, 3 rows, 10 paylines. It may seem simple and not that much, but just wait until you take a peek at the features and all that they have to offer.

Travel Trough Snowy Nordic Terrains

The myth about the Nordic god Loki is quite interesting, as Loki sometimes is represented as the good and faithful helper of other gods, and in others he is shown as the enemy of them. He could change his appearance and take shape of anything so he could trick everyone on his way.

The game's background is quite dark, and it shows some of the cold and hard to get Nordic terrains, where Loki would find his shelter. The grid is framed in beautifully crafted steel with two green emeralds on the sides. The soundtrack is quite stimulating, and it goes well with the theme.

The provider offered us two types of symbols. The first ones to mention are the low paid symbols which are represented by the classic card royals. There are the high paid symbols that include the emerald ring, green shield, compass, and the most valuable of them, the Loki himself. The provider chooses to use one symbol for the wild and the scatter, and it is represented by a golden book.

When it comes to the RTP, it is not that bad, set at 95.80%. The game's volatility is set at medium to high which will surely come as a delight for a lot of us. The betting range of the game is quite wide as the minimum bet is set at 0.10 coins per spin, and the maximum is at 50 coins per spin. The maximum payout is set at 5000 times the stake which is quite generous.

Try to Trick the God of Trickery

As for the features, the main thing you should look for is the symbol of a golden book. It will provide you all sorts of benefits and prizes. The golden book will perform as a wild symbol, and substitute for all other symbols to bring you some winning combinations.

When 3, 4, or 5 of them land on the reels, they will award you with wins of 20, 200, or 2000 times the stake. The golden book symbol will also act like a scatter and at least three of them will trigger the Free Spins feature, and provide you with 10 free spins. The feature can be retriggered the same way as it did in the first place.

During the Free Spins feature you will get an automatically chosen symbol, and whenever it appears on the reels it will automatically expand through the entire reel, and provide you some great chances to win some awesome rewards. They are able to provide wins even if they aren't aligned in a special order.

Open the Book and Collect the Prizes

The provider surely managed to bring something unique and different to the same pattern style games. Not to mention, the payouts will impress and surprise you, while the features entertain you. We are definitely tired of the Egyptian Gods and Pharaohs, and this is really a refreshing and surprising twist, making this game one to recommend for sure.
