While these games aren’t exactly our favorites, we do know that the series has a bit of a following, even if a few of its releases are plain reskins. But if you’re fine with that, you might also be fine with Bass Cash X UP King Millions, as it takes the 2024 original, tweaks a few parts of the game, such as its stats, and adds in the Games Global Progressive Jackpot mechanic, the titular King Millions feature, which is a bit of a double-edged sword and can be quite a divisive addition. But, at its core, the gameplay loop is, for the most part, the same, being centered around Cash Collect mechanics and the titular X UP Multiplier bonuses. Final Thoughts on Bass Cash X UP King Millions
The original Bass Cash X UP was, at best, just another fishing-themed release, but with a slapped-on Games Global feature that, at the time, was already a few years old and had previously appeared in releases like Football Finals X UP and Chili Bonanza X UP. So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that when the original came out in 2024, we weren’t all that excited, thinking it was mostly an okay and mediocre release. Now, two years later, we get the same game, same visuals, and same theme, but with an already polarizing feature slapped on. This means that already right off the bat, Bass Cash X UP King Millions is on a bit of an uphill battle, and, at the end of the day, the game feels like any other reskinned King Millions variant release, of which we’ve seen many over the years.
As we said in our 2024 Bass Cash X UP review, the titular X UP feature is probably the star of the show, thanks to being able to spice up just about any spin with some pretty good Multipliers, where any small fry can feel like a big catch. However, the Multipliers feel best when they hit alongside Jackpots, which can be a rare sight. When it comes to bonus games, the Bass Cash bonus game is probably our personal favorite, as it makes Cash Collecting a bit more consistent, and the Trophy collecting can be a fun way to hunt Jackpots. But on the other hand, the Free Spins might be a better fit if you enjoy the X UP mechanic and gameplay loop. However, even so, at the end of the day, all of these things can be the same said for Bass Cash X UP, as both of these games play nearly identically, meaning that this game’s main selling point is the King Millions mechanic. That puts this game in a bit of a weird position, but it can surely find its own loyal playerbase among the many Bass Cash and King Million enjoyers.
