While these games aren’t exactly complicated, Bad Bass 3 Reels takes the complexity down a notch, focusing on Cash Collect and Multiplier Respins, which would actually become the foundation for the reskinned Candy Treasures 3 Reels, released only a month later. The game comes with a 3x3 playing grid, where the focus is all about hitting Coin and Collect Symbols, either for payouts or to trigger the Respins with a rather interesting Multiplier bonus that moves down the reels, doubling its value as it goes on. Final Thoughts on Bad Bass 3 Reels
Bad Bass 3 Reels is a rather uninspired release, as it comes from a fishing-themed series that was already lacking a proper identity, and delivers on a pretty standard old-school feature lineup. Visually, the game hasn’t changed much since the original Bad Bass release, and while there’s nothing wrong with it, it does feel a bit lazy. We wish there had been some difference between the releases, especially since, at the time of this game’s release, the series is nearing its 3-year anniversary. So, while it doesn’t look bad, it’s not very interesting, especially the third time around, and it doesn’t really help, as the game overall is quite forgettable, especially as it was very quickly reskinned and released in a new package in the aforementioned Candy Treasures 3 Reels.
When it comes to gameplay, it isn’t bad, as the gameplay loop is rather fun and can be rewarding, but it definitely has a more old-school target audience. We say this because the main features, the Cash Collect and Multiplier Respins, aren’t all too different from the many Hold & Win Fruit slots that we see released each month. But, to defend the game, just as we said about Candy Treasures 3 Reels, we do enjoy the bonus game and how the Multiplier works, as it is just a bit different from most other Multiplier mechanics. However, even so, we don’t think it’s enough to keep us engaged for longer play sessions, and we can imagine many other players, especially those more interested in modern releases, feel the same way.
Bad Bass 3 Reels is the third release in the Bad Bass series, but delivers on a different Cash Collect and Multiplier Respins gameplay loop from its predecessors.
