The Amazing Link series, which has seen numerous releases over the years, really loves its myths and legends, as seen in titles like Amazing Link Medusa, Amazing Link Athena, and Amazing Link Hades. So it shouldn’t really be a surprise when we get a Pegasus-themed release, which, while not all too different from the standard Amazing Link formula, does bring with it a few new toys to try and modernize the series just a tiny bit more. But, even with its new features in the form of the Random Bonus Triggers and additional Amazing Pegasus bonus game, Amazing Link Pegasus feels almost like a clone of its series, as these games aren’t all too different from each other. However, there’s a reason behind the many releases, and while we don’t think these games are bad, they can feel a bit oversaturated, and SpinPlay Games doesn’t seem all too keen to really make major enough changes to really change up its winning formula, even with the slight changes in Amazing Link Pegasus.

Final Thoughts on Amazing Link Pegasus
The Amazing Link series is one of those that are very easy to forget, as many of them are just a bit too similar to each other in visuals, theme, and gameplay, especially those with a mythological setting. Not to say that they’re the worst thing we’ve ever played, but that they don’t feel all that exciting anymore, and just as we said in our review for Amazing Link: Dakota Jones, which was released only two months prior to Amazing Link Pegasus, we think these games are just one of those slots that become forgettable after the first spin thanks to them being plain and generic. Sadly, these games just aren’t all that impressive, especially to a more modern audience, and while there have been some introductions of features and bonuses that have helped little over the years, SpinPlay Games seems to want to stick with the safety of the formula.
When it comes to gameplay, Amazing Link Pegasus is just like its predecessors and doesn’t really play all that differently. While it does have a handful of bonus games, they aren’t all that compelling. For example, the Free Spins bonus comes with a guaranteed Wild Reel, but it doesn’t always equate to wins, and most of the paytable isn’t all that impressive anyway. So, instead, we have to turn to Jackpots, either from the Pick ‘em or the Amazing Link bonus games, but these play identically to other releases in the series, and only make us question why we should play Amazing Link Pegasus and not any of the other previous releases. All in all, SpinPlay Games hasn’t done much to really entice us to come back and spin, which is especially bad as we’re about 20 installments deep into the series. So, while playable and will certainly find its own audience, Amazing Link Pegasus doesn’t impress us in any capacity, and we wish we saw some love given to the series to make the next release stand out, but we don’t believe that may be the case.
