Introduction to Action Boost Max Loot

Action Boost Max Loot is a casino slot from SpinPlay Games set in a bank with seemingly never-ending gold and bills. If you’re familiar with SpinPlay Games, the title shouldn’t sound like a surprise, as they have quite the affinity for their Action Boost, Amazing Link, Amazing Builder, and more, titular feature series. While we would say that many of these games are very similar and can sometimes feel like lazy sequels, this game takes it one step further, as this is sadly a reskin of Action Boost Max Gilded Mines, released in 2025, which was, in turn, a reskin of the 2024 release Action Boost Max Dragon’s Cache. This series of reskins hasn’t been the most impressive over the years, and Action Boost Max Loot may just be the least interesting of the bunch, especially in its visuals and theme department. However, its gameplay loop is more than familiar, being mostly centered around the titular Action Boost Free Spins and its bonuses, alongside a Vault Pick Bonus for more ways to hit Cash Prizes and Jackpots to help you on the way to hitting the max win of 5,000X the bet.

SpinPlay Games releases the third reskin in the Action Boost Max series, this time with a bank theme that pairs with familiar features such as the titular bonus game and the Vault bonus.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts

Action Boost Max Loot is a video slot from SpinPlay Games with 5 Reels, 4 / 6 Rows, and 20 / 40 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.2 and a Max.bet of 50. Action Boost Max Loot comes with a higher-than-average RTP of 96.49%, a hit frequency of 33.58%high volatility, and an okay max win of 5,000X the bet.

The game is set inside the vault of a bank, with the background mostly consisting of a green wall, filled with locked cases of potential wins. Above the playing grid sits the three colored bags, which are the three Action Boost Bonuses that can activate the bonus game. Next to the playing grid is the Vault icon, which, when triggered, will take us inside the golden vault, which, to no one’s surprise, is filled with golden bars. You can play the game on most notepads, mobiles, and desktops.

The lower-paying symbols are 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A. Creating a win with 5 of the same symbols will pay out 1X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are various valuables and bank-like items, including a diamond ring, a diamond-crusted watch, a bag of coins, a vault of gold, and a bank. Landing a win with 5 of the same symbols pays out 2X to 5X the bet. The Special Symbols are Wilds, Action Boost Coins, Gold Coins, and Vault Symbols, which we go more in-depth about in the next section.

Wild Symbols

Wild Symbols help form winning combinations by being able to substitute for all symbols except Special Symbols, such as Vault and Coin Symbols. Wilds spin as full stacks of 4, being able to completely take over a reel with only Wilds.

Action Boost Max Free Spins

The Action Boos Max Free Spins can be randomly triggered when one or more of the differently colored Action Boost Coin Scatter Symbols land. Each Action Boost Coin will be collected in its respective bag above the reels, having a chance to trigger the Free Spins feature with 10 spins with the respective Bonuses. By landing Gold Coins during the bonus game, you have a chance to either earn Cash Prizes, Action Boost Upgrades, or activate additional inactive Action Boosts. The Action Boost Bonuses are as follows:

Green = Grows the playing grid from 5x4 to 5x6, increasing the paylines to 60, and for each upgrade, it will add additional Wilds to the reels for the remainder of the feature.

Purple = Adds a 2X Multiplier to the bonus game, being able to be upgraded to 3X on the first upgrade and 5X on the second. Gold Coins can now also award +1 and +2 Spins.

Key = Unlocks the Jackpot Meter, giving Gold Coins a chance to turn into Jackpot Keys, which will be added to the corresponding Jackpot Collection, needing a set amount of Keys to be awarded the respective Jackpot. Each Upgrade reduces the number of keys required for each Jackpot Collection by 1, and can be upgraded twice.

You can both trigger the bonus game with multiple Action Boost Bonuses or trigger inactive Bonuses during the bonus game. During this time, if a Gold Coin awards an additional Upgrade or Bonus, it will also award an additional +2 spins.

Vault Symbols can randomly appear on any spin and will be collected to the background Vault, having a random chance to trigger on any collection. When triggered, you will be awarded the Pick Bonus, which allows you to pick items to reveal Cash Prizes, Jackpots, Action Boost Bonuses, Action Boost Upgrades, and Terminate Coins. The bonus game ends when you’ve revealed 3 Terminate Coins.

Final Thoughts on Action Boost Max Loot

SpinPlay Games is one of those studios that love rehashing their favorite features and mechanics, with usually mixed results. The Action Boost Max series was one we never really thought the formula was all that interesting or great, and was, at best, an okay experience. However, after two years of back-to-back reskins of the same formula, we feel that it has overstayed its welcome, and this time the studio even delivered on, in our opinion, a worse product, as Action Boost Max Loot doesn’t appeal to us the same way that the others did, in neither theme nor visuals. While some may say visuals aren’t important, there isn’t much else different between these games, meaning that they are more or less competing with each other on things that aren’t gameplay.

Action Boost Max Loot’s gameplay loop boils down to its base game being more or less a waiting room, as while its Stacked Wilds may help form a few wins, the paytable isn’t all that impressive, meaning most wins will be found in either of the bonus games. Starting with the Action Boost, one of the things it does have going for it is its packed bonuses, which we do like, and its upgrades make them feel slightly more interesting compared to many other similar 3-Pot mechanics, however, the actual bonus spins themselves aren’t always the most exciting without these upgrades. This is because the paytable is still rather weak, and Gold Coin Cash Prizes aren’t the most reliable in their payouts. In contrast, the Vault Pick Bonus is a faster and simpler way of creating wins and triggering features, but it is inherently volatile and could end prematurely before anything sizeable has been hit. All in all, Action Boost Max Loot is a highly volatile slot with most eggs in its titular Action Boost mechanic basket, however, as this is a reskin, it doesn’t compel us or interest us enough to really stick around for many spins.

Action Boost Max Loot is a slot release from SpinPlay Games with a feature lineup that’s a bit too familiar, paired with a rather lacking presentation and visuals.
