Thunderkick expands its UK presence through a new partnership with Bally’s International, bringing its full slot portfolio to major brands like Jackpotjoy and Bally Casino.
Pragmatic Play has officially launched its first title under a brand-new vertical called Arcade, and they're kicking things off with a fan-favourite format: Plinko+. This high-energy release puts a modern spin on one of the most recognizable game mechanics in the world, reimagined for a new audience of casino and casual players alike.

Plinko+ draws inspiration from the classic Japanese game Pachinko, which has made its way into Western pop culture through game shows and, more recently, online gaming. The Plinko mechanic has already seen strong adoption in the iGaming space as seen in titles like Pine of Plinko, but with Plinko+, Pragmatic Play takes things to the next level by adding layers of customization and win potential.
The core gameplay in Plinko+ revolves around a pyramid-shaped grid. Players release balls from the top, watching as they bounce unpredictably off a series of pegs before landing in one of the prize buckets at the bottom. While the middle buckets typically award smaller wins, it’s the outer buckets, at the far left and right, that hold the biggest rewards, with payouts reaching up to 1,000x your bet.

Players can select from different grid sizes, ranging from 8 lines up to 16. Smaller pyramids offer faster gameplay with fewer prize buckets, while larger pyramids introduce more pins and more chances to hit big prizes at the edges. The visual presentation is clean and intuitive, keeping the focus squarely on the action as the balls make their way down the grid.
Where Plinko+ really shines is in its adjustable risk settings. Before launching a ball, players can choose between low, medium, or high risk. These settings impact the prize distribution — higher risk means the central buckets pay less, but the potential rewards on the outer buckets are significantly greater.
This level of control gives Plinko+ a strategic edge over more traditional fixed-format versions of the game. Whether you're chasing steady wins or aiming for those huge outer-edge hits, Plinko+ adapts to your play style.
Plinko+ represents the launch of a completely new content category for Pragmatic Play. The Arcade vertical is designed to appeal to players who enjoy instant-win mechanics, simplified gameplay, and short game cycles. With the rise in popularity of crash games, mini-games, and casual mechanics, this move from Pragmatic is a strong signal of their intent to diversify beyond traditional slots and table games.
Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “Plinko+ is the first title in Pragmatic Play’s new arcade portfolio, combining simple, low-volatility gaming with a fun theme, vibrant graphics, and multipliers of up to 1,000x. More arcade games are set to follow, with Spire+ and Mines+ coming soon.”
The release of Plinko+ positions Pragmatic Play as a serious contender in the growing arcade and crash-style game market, one that’s becoming increasingly popular among streamers and social casino players.
We look forward to seeing what Spire+ and Mines+ will look like!
