Introduction to War

War is a live game from Evolution that invites us to a bunker, where crucial decisions must be made. With cool design and extremely simplistic gameplay, you step inside the bunker and get ready for a showdown against the dealer in a battle for the best hand. The rules are simple: predict if your card will rank higher than the dealer’s cards. It doesn’t have the depth of games like Baccarat, but presents an alternative if you want an uncomplicated live experience in a thrilling environment. It’s too simplistic for us, but we can still understand its appeal and charm.

War Information

This Evolution game has a design based on a war theme, with the host sitting right in front of you. It is set inside a bunker and has some serious Command & Conquer vibes, creating a thrilling experience. All buttons, including the Bet Spot and Account Info, are positioned on the screen’s lower edge. You can play War on all mobile devices, desktops, and tablets.

War Payout

The max win in War is 200X the bet with an RTP of 96.56% by default. The potential payouts are:

Main Bet = 1X the bet.

Side Bet 1st Tie = 10X the bet.

Side Bet 2nd Tie in row = 25X the bet.

Side Bet 3rd Tie in row = 50X the bet.

Side Bet 4th Tie in row = 200X the bet.

War Gameplay

The objective of War is to predict if your card will rank higher than the dealer’s. War is played with 8 standard 52-card decks, excluding Jokers, where Ace is the highest and 2 is the lowest.

Whenever the dealer and players receive the same rank of card, it's a Tie, and then players decide to either Surrender or Go to War.

Surrender = means losing half of your bet, and the game round ends. Chosen if you believe that odds are against you.

Go To War = double your main bet and continue the round. When chosen, the host will deal you an additional card face-up. Beating the dealer's hand will award 2X the bet, and the original wager is pushed. However, if the dealer wins, you lose all. If a Tie occurs, the same process repeats, doubling your bet each time.

Final Thoughts on War

"The drums thundered through the night — a signal to rise, to fight, to go to war." This user-friendly card game offers a mix of head-to-head combat and fast gameplay. Its objective is straightforward: get the highest card or choose to retreat.

In terms of gameplay, War is similar to Pragmatic Play’s Dragon Tiger, offering simple card gameplay, where the highest card wins. However, this game stands out thanks to its innovative bunker design, giving it a wow factor, even though the gameplay is very simplistic. For us, War feels like the kind of game that’s easy to pick up, but lacks the depth and firepower of similar releases from Evolution, such as Lightning Dragon Tiger.

Overall, its simplistic and almost juvenile game mechanics should appeal to everyone who is tired of complicated gameplay. It’s too basic for us, and the gameplay becomes repetitive with no surprises. With that said, the bunker design and thrilling live environment are worth a try alone.

War is a live game where you must defeat your enemy by drawing the highest card, in extremely simplistic gameplay, but in a cool environment.
