Introduction to Mega Wheel
Mega Wheel is a live game from Pragmatic Play and the gaming provider’s first Live Game Show. Here, we are presented with a simplistic game approach in a Live Game Show environment. The studio is colorful, and according to the provider, it should appeal with simple rules and a playful energy. While testing the game, we noticed the 9 different betting options and a familiar Big Wheel mechanic, seen in popular games such as Crazy Times. We think Mega Wheel can attract an audience with its simplistic approach and easy-going vibe, but for us, it’s too basic. We understand the game’s approach, but without any Bonus Games, it will struggle to compete with similar games that offer more depth and greater win potential, making this an okay release with an average rating. Let’s find out what else Mega Wheel offers.

Mega Wheel Information
This Pragmatic Play game is designed based on a game host theme, inspired by famous TV game shows such as The Prize is Right or Wheel of Fortune. The giant 54-segment wheel is in the middle of the live game studio, and the game host is standing beside it, guiding you throughout the game rounds. All betting spots and info buttons are on the screen's lower edge. You can play Mega Wheel on all mobile devices, desktops, and tablets. A win is created by predicting the numbered segment where the wheel will stop.
Mega Wheel Payouts
This game offers a max win of 500X the bet and an RTP of 96.51%. The following payouts are possible:
1 = Pays 1X to 100X the bet, 20 of 54 segments on the wheel.
2 = Pays 2X to 200X the bet, 13 of 54 segments on the wheel.
5 = Pays 5X to 2500X the bet, 7 of 54 segments on the wheel.
8 = Pays 8X to 250X the bet, 4 of 54 segments on the wheel.
10 = Pays 10X to 250X the bet, 4 of 54 segments on the wheel.
15 = Pays 15X to 500X the bet, 2 of 54 segments on the wheel.
20 = Pays 20X to 500X the bet, 2 of 54 segments on the wheel.
30 = Pays 30X to 500X the bet, 1 of 54 segments on the wheel.
40 = Pays 40X to 500X the bet, 1 of 54 segments on the wheel.
Mega Wheel Gameplay
The objective of Mega Wheel is to predict the numbered segment where the wheel will stop. You can bet on 9 different numbers: 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40. Once the betting time has closed, one of the 9 symbols is randomly selected with the Mega Multiplier before the wheel stops.
During each game round, the Mega Multiplier is randomly attached to a number. The selected number is called the Mega Lucky Number, and it awards up to 500X the bet.
Final Thoughts on Mega Wheel
This game offers a straightforward Live Game Show experience with user-friendly gameplay. The action takes place inside a familiar studio, led by a skilled live host. We’ve seen the TV Game Show vibe many times before, and here we are met by the standard 54-segmented wheel. In terms of design and vibe, it has a decent atmosphere and colorful visuals, but unfortunately, the basic gameplay doesn’t match.
As we mentioned in the Introduction, the game revolves around the Money Wheel, which we’ve previously seen in other Pragmatic Play games such as Money Time. However, here we are offered minor gameplay tweaks, such as 9 betting options and the Mega Multiplier. On each round, the Mega Multiplier is randomly attached to a number, awarding up to a modest 500X the bet, which is lower than competitors. While testing the game, we liked the Live Game Show theme, but it offers the same old vibe we’ve seen before, and the release lacks innovation due to repetitive gameplay. We also lacked a bonus game, which is a weakness of the Big Wheel genre and results in a lack of depth.
Overall, even though we liked the colorful design and well-produced studio environment, it can’t compete with similar Live Game Shows like Crazy Pachinko and Funky Time in terms of innovation and dynamic gameplay. We wish the provider had created a more original take on the format with edgier gameplay, but it can still work as an alternative if you want a simple Live Game Show with high production values, which is why I gave it an average rating.
Mega Wheel is a live game with a straightforward Live Game Show approach, where the well-known Mega Wheel can provide decent wins in a familiar environment.
