Crucible Gaming Review
Founded in the City of Steel, also known as Sheffield, in 2019 by Edward Byard and a team of seasoned veterans with over 25 years of experience in the industry. However, Crucible Gaming wouldn’t release games until it signed an exclusive content development and distribution partnership with Light & Wonder in early 2024, quickly debuting with the game Cherry8 soon after. As it continues to release games through the Light & Wonder platform, it has continued to push into the North American and European markets, where most of its games are available.

Since its debut in 2024, Crucible Gaming has slowly been filling out its portfolio, releasing a handful of games each year. Its early games, such as its debut slot, Bar-X Infinity, and Book of Sevens, were a bit simpler and old-school, sporting the classic Fruit slot vibes. However, the studio started to test the waters with new genres and themes, such as with Beaver in Las Vegas, Dynamite Chickens, and Pyramids of Luxor.
Crucible Gaming Conclusion
Crucible Gaming has been around for a few years, but didn’t properly step into the industry until recently, with the help of Light & Wonder. While its early releases weren’t anything special, we did see some potential in the studio, and we are excited to see what it can cook up in the future, so stay tuned, slot lovers.
