BetDigital Review
BetDigital is a UK-based casino slot development company that was founded in 2011 by a team with over 50 years of combined experience. The company had a steady pace for its first few early years, releasing both online slots and land-based casino software, and partnering up with major operators such as Ladbrokes and William Hill. Later in 2016, the studio would be acquired by NYX Gaming Group, but this wouldn’t last long, as in the next year, NYX Gaming Group, including BetDigital, was acquired by Scientific Games, now known as Light & Wonder. Today, of what little we know of the company, it continues to operate behind the scenes under the Light & Wonder umbrella, but hasn’t released any more online casino slots since 2018.

As the studio focused on both land-based and online gaming, we don’t have that big of a portfolio to play with. Over its 7 years of development, its line-up consists of +20 games, many of which carry that old-school land-based casino feeling, with some of its more famous releases being Joker 10000, Big Spinner, and Abracardabra. However, their last few games weren’t half bad either, those being Knights of Gold and Subbuteo, with the latter being the last known release from the studio.
BetDigital Conclusion
While never really in the limelight, BetDigital has a few respectable releases in its portfolio, even though the studio may be more well-known for its land-based releases, some of which later saw online ports. The studio is more or less gone from the public eye, but even so, players still have had amazing gaming experiences when it was active, and we would welcome BetDigital back any day.
