Introduction to Tut’s Treasure Tower
Tut’s Treasure Tower is a casino slot from Fat Panda, where ancient treasures guarded by mummies are yours to take. As it is Fat Panda, this is another mobile-first slot release that leans into simple gameplay with true and tested features, making it a rather safe bet for both the studio to create and for players to spin away at. As the title hints, this is an ancient Egyptian-themed game centered on King Tutankhamun, the thirteenth pharaoh of Ancient Egypt, who took the throne at only 11 years old and died unexpectedly at 18. During this time, Ancient Egypt entered a period of flourishing and sought to restore its old culture, specifically that surrounding the mythological gods. The game reflects that on this by having King Tut himself as the main mascot, but now he’s nothing more than an unrecognisable, marketable, happy mummy with a pot of gold. Gameplay-wise, it’s nothing new, as it is all about Money Symbols, where they come either with Multiplier Value prizes, ranging from 0.5X to 150X, or Jackpot Prizes, ranging from 20X to the max win of 5,000X the bet. However, the Money Symbols are only really in effect during the Progressive Respins bonus game, which we will talk more about later in this review, so tag along.
Ancient Egypt and slots go hand in hand, so Fat Panda leaned into it with a focus on Money Symbols and Respins. If you want to check out the game for yourself, be sure to give the Tut’s Treasure Tower demo a try.

Theme, Gameplay & Payouts
Tut’s Treasure Tower is a video slot from Fat Panda with 3 Reels, 3 Rows, and 5 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.1 and a Max.bet of 50. Tut’s Treasure Tower comes with a higher-than-average RTP of 96.51%, but take note that there are other versions with lower RTPs at 95.51% and 94.51%, a hit frequency of 23.09%, and high volatility. The max win is at 5,000X the bet, but you should know that the max win hit frequency sits at 1 in 939,744 spins, and the Respins frequency averages out at 1 in 100 spins.
The game is set in an Ancient Egyptian tomb, and the playing grid is filled with various items and symbols from the culture. On top of the playing grid is King Tut, or at least, a mummified version of him, with a big smile and a pot of gold ready to trigger the Respins bonus game. You can play the game on most notepads, desktops, and mobiles.
The lower-paying symbols are an ankh, a crook and lail, and a lotus. Creating a win with 3 of the same symbols will pay out 0.5X to 1X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are a snake, a scarab, and the eye of Horus. Landing a win with 3 of the same symbols pays out 2X to 10X the bet. The Special Symbols are Wild Symbols and Scatter Symbols, but more on those in the next section.
Special Features & Mechanics
What is the max win in the slot Tut’s Treasure Tower?
You can win up to 5,000X the bet.
What features are available in the slot Tut’s Treasure Tower?
The features are Wild Symbols, Money Symbols, and Respins.

Wild Symbols
Wild Symbols help form winning combinations by being able to substitute for all symbols except Money Symbols.
Money Symbols
Money Symbols can land at any time with a predefined set of Multiplier values ranging from 0.5X to 150X, or one of the Jackpots, including the Mini (20X), Minor (50X), Major (200X), Mega (1,000X), and Grand Jackpots (5,000X). However, the Money Symbols won’t pay out in the base game and will only do so at the end of the Respins feature.
Respins
The Respins bonus game can randomly trigger whenever you land 1, 2, or 3 Money Symbols, or is guaranteed whenever you land 4 Money Symbols. The bonus game is played on a special 3x3 playing grid that can unlock additional rows by landing Money Symbols up to a 3x7 playing grid. You start with 3 Spins, and for each Money Symbol you land, it will stick onto the grid and reset the spin counter to 3. The feature ends when the spin counter hits 0, or all positions have been filled, and if it is the latter, you will be awarded the Max Win of 5,000X the bet as an additional bonus.
Final Thoughts on Tut’s Treasure Tower
When Fat Panda started as a studio, they focused almost entirely on developing games for their Lucky series, which we’ve talked in length about, but since then, they’ve tried to expand into other typical themes, such as Mystic Wishes, Code of Cairo, and Happy Nets. We’ve seen multiple times that we do feel that many of these mobile-first releases from Fat Panda are lacking in some sort of way, and that’s not to say that all mobile-first releases are like this, as we’ve seen many from other providers that deliver on better quality. For being a game even titled after him, King Tutankhamun is barely even a character here, as this is just a smiling character made to be marketable, and the overall visuals aren’t even good enough to really feel like a modern release. But with that off our chest, let us move over to the gameplay section.
Starting with the stats, we have a higher-than-average RTP of 96.51% and a hit frequency of 23.09%, both of which are good, but then this is coupled with a relatively okay max win of 5,000X the bet. If you’re a max win hunter, then there are actually a couple of ways to hunt it, be it from a mix of high-paying Money Symbols and Jackpots, filling all 21 positions in the Respins bonus game, or just hitting the Grand Jackpot. The paytable isn’t really that exciting, with a max payout of 10X, so that means that you’ll be mostly leaning towards the Money Symbols for the heavy lifting, however, the Money Symbols can only pay out in the Respins bonus game, making the base game pretty bland and boring. The one thing we can give the game is that the bonus game at least has some progressive levels, making it ever so slightly more interesting than if it didn’t. Like many other mobile-first games, they’re made to be played on the move, or portably, but the fact that there isn’t even a feature buy makes it kinda hard to experience the one thing that the game has going for it if you just pop in for a few quick spins. The game just doesn’t hold up in the sea of near-endless slot releases, especially modern ones for that matter, and we have a hard time really recommending this game over others. But now you at least know what to expect, and if you really want to try the game for yourself, then give Tut’s Treasure Tower demo a try beforehand.
Tut’s Treasure Tower is a slot with a simple Money Symbol and Respin formula wrapped up in an Ancient Egyptian tomb setting.
