Triple Pot is one of the many mechanics that Pragmatic Play likes to play around with, as seen with games like Triple Pot Diamond and Triple Pot Gold, but has rarely stepped into the Plinko scene. While the mechanic is only recently starting to make traction a few years ago, there haven’t been many big hits outside of those from Print Studios, which might be deemed the king of plinko slots, with releases like Pine of Plinko, its sequel Pine of Plinko 2, and Pond of Plinko. However, we were quite unsure of what to expect when we first started playing Triple Pot Plinko - Hercules, but, outside of some rather uninspired visuals, it actually surprised us with its simple and fun mix of mechanics. So, let us go over those aforementioned mechanics and features.
As usual, we like to go over the stats beforehand, and here we got some pretty good ones, with a higher-than-average RTP of 96.55%, hit frequency of 25.64%, and a solid max win of 10,000X the bet. While it definitely isn’t built around it, the game has a fine enough paytable, and there is a Wild Symbol mixed in to occasionally help with the paylines. However, this is not something we really put much care or thought into, and neither did Pragmatic Play, it seems. No, the real star of the show is the titular 3 Pot Plinko bonus game, as while some people are happy with just a standard Plinko feature, we now have a couple of upgrades to look forward to.
These upgrades range from extra balls, Multiplier Balls, and Bucket Prize Boosts, and may not sound that exciting, but they work their magic a bit more subtly than something like Print Studio’s releases. We think that Pragmatic Play could’ve done a bit more to spice up the bonus game, and maybe even the bonus game itself, to make the game less dependent on hitting Scatter Symbols, but maybe that’s where the special Ante Bet mechanic comes in.
