Sweet Bonanza 2500 is very much true to its core, following the same foundation, visuals, and features of its original from 2019, and continues to build on what Sweet Bonanza 1000 laid down in 2024. While we’ve generally been fans of the 1000 series, we’ve also expressed disappointment in how little we feel like the games actually change between releases, but that’s also the point, giving players an even more volatile version of a previous smash hit. Now, with the release of a 2500 version, we expected a bit of the same, and while yes, that is exactly what we got, Pragmatic Play also added a few more toys to try out, beyond just adding extra Multipliers. So, with that said, let us move on and discuss the gameplay in more detail.
As usual, we want to start with the stats, as the series is actually known for having pretty good ones, and here it’s no different, with a solid RTP of 96.52%, a high hit frequency of 42.91%, and a max win of 25,000X the bet. The latter, actually quite surprising to us as well, yes, it does make a little sense because of the game’s title, but this is also the same max win as in Sweet Bonanza 1000. If you haven’t played the previous releases, then let us tell you that they’re actually quite simple and straightforward, where big wins come from long tumble sequences, as the paytable hasn’t been changed in this version, with a mix of Multiplier Bombs during the Free Spins feature. It’s these bombs that are based on the title, as they can now come with Multipliers up to 2,500X, which, while very rare, are definitely a hype moment whenever you see one.
