Introduction to Soul Slayer
Soul Slayer is a casino slot from Stakelogic where demons have crawled into our world, and there is only one who can save it. You take the role of the Slayer, fighting back against evil with each spin. Here, Stakelogic decided to take this little lore background and completely build a game around it, as all features and bonuses are directly tied in with slaying demons, which we thought sounded like the dopest idea ever. Couple this with the game's art style, which gave us a bit of a nostalgic kick to the old online game Adventure Quest, and we were looking to have some pretty fun spins ahead of us. While in the base game, it’s all about the Slayer Wilds, which will target Demon Symbols and cut them down, turning them into Wilds and Multiplier Wilds, which is made even easier as the randomly triggered Incursion demon portal opens up. However, you’ll find even more action in the Combat bonus game, which is a bit of a unique feature where you go through a gauntlet of demons, snagging Coins, Multipliers, and Battle Symbols, trying to stay alive until you’ve finished off the Dragon Lord, and maybe even take home the max win of 10,000X the bet.
Defend Earth from demons as the Slayer, and cash in on infernal fortunes and Multipliers. If you want to have a few spins for yourself to test your might, then be sure to check out the Soul Slayer Demo.

Theme, Gameplay & Payouts
Soul Slayer is a video slot from Stakelogic with 6 reels, 5 rows, and 40 paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.4 and a Max.bet of 80. The game comes with a very standard RTP of 96.01%, however, the game has multiple other versions with lower RTPs to keep an eye out for, as they sit at 95.50%, 93.81%, 90%, and 88%. You’ll be playing with a high volatility, where wins may not be that huge all too often, but when they land, then you’re sure to hit something big and maybe even get the max win of 10,000X the bet.
You find yourself in a cartoony-looking city, where demons are pouring out of portals to try and take over the world, and this is where you, the Slayer, come in, acting as the last defender of Earth. However, the odds swing in our favour as you enter the bonus game, where you take the fight to hell itself to try and take down the Dragon Lord. You can play the game on most desktops, mobiles, and notepads.
The lower-paying symbols are J, Q, K, and A. Creating a win with 6 of the same symbols will pay out 0.2X to 0.4X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are various demons, ranging from the vampire, the goblin, the gargoyle, the succubus, and the demon prince. Landing a win with 6 of the same symbols pays out 0.5X to 2X the bet. You’ll also find Special Symbols, such as the many different types of Wilds, but the most important being the Slayer Wild, and you’ll also find the typical Scatter Symbols, but more on all of these in the next part.
Special Features & Mechanics
What is the max win in the slot Soul Slayer?
You can win up to 5,000X the bet.
What features are available in the slot Soul Slayer?
The features are Wild Symbols, Incursion, Combat Bonus Game, Feature Buy, and Ante Bet (Super Stake).

Wild Symbols
There are 3 types of Wild Symbols that you will find among the reels, but they all share the same effect of being able to substitute for all symbols except Scatter Symbols.
Standard Wild Symbols = Can be found on all reels and act as a normal Wild.
Slayer Wild Symbol = Can only land on reel 1 during the base game. If any Demon Symbols land on the same spin, the Wild Slayer bonus kicks in, destroying all matching Demon Symbols and turning them into Standard or Multiplier Wild Symbols.
Multiplier Wild Symbol = Can only turn up after a Demon Symbol has been slayed, coming with possible values of 2X, 3X, 4X, or 5X.
Incursion
Can randomly activate on any spin in the base game, and will open up 5-20 portals randomly on the playing grid. All portals reveal the same randomly selected high-paying Demon symbol locked into place after the reels land.
Combat Bonus Game
By landing 4-6 Scatter Symbols, you’ll trigger the Combat feature, which features you as the Slayer battling it out against 3 Demons back to back, and then a demon boss, collecting Coins as you fight. There are 3 levels, each with 3 demons to fight, and ending with a boss fight. You collect coins during battles, and after defeating a demon, you’ll take their coins and add them to the total win. The unique symbols found on the reels as you fight are as follows:
Coin Symbols = Collected either by the Slayer or Demon, and are added to their coin total in the character panel.
Coin Multipliers = Coin Symbols with 2x-10X multipliers that will be applied to your currently collected total coins, can be collected by both the Slayer and Demon.
Slayer Sword = The Slayer deals 300 damage to the Demon.
Slayer Shotgun = The Slayer deals 100 damage to the Demon.
Health Potion = Health Potions heal the Slayer or Demons by +100 to +300 Health.
Demon Teeth = The Demon deals 300 damage to the Slayer.
Demon Claw = The Demon deals 100 damage to the Slayer.
The feature ends either after defeating the final Dragon Lord boss or being defeated, paying out the total collected Coin Symbols.

Feature Buy
There is 1 Feature Buy option, which lets you instantly enter the Combat bonus game for a price based on the current bet.
100X = Activates the Combat bonus game.
Ante Bet (Super Stake)
By activating the Super Stake, you double your chances of triggering the Combat bonus game by adding more Scatter Symbols to the reels, but this comes with a 1.5x increase to your current bet.
Final Thoughts on Soul Slayer
Stakelogic has been on quite a nice spree recently, as Soul Slayer is definitely a fun concept turned into a good slot release. From its lore background to its gameplay, Soul Slayer definitely hits some great points, even with its nostalgic, but slightly stiff and outdated, character models. But even with the visuals being a bit hit or miss, the nice, vibrant graphics work well with the cartoony style, and the game's metal-like soundtrack makes for an epic slot experience. Before we move over to discussing the gameplay, one thing we should mention is that its main feature, the unique Combat bonus game, is one we’ve actually seen before in Garden Gladiators, released early 2025, and there we felt like it was a bit more interesting, but we digress.
So, starting with gameplay, we have to mention the stats, and it's pretty average, with an RTP of 96.01% and a max win at 5,000X the bet. Compared to this game's spiritual prequel, the previously mentioned Garden Gladiators, Soul Slayers actually has a pretty solid base game, and that mostly comes down to the Slayer Wild Symbol. While not perfect, it’s a great way of forming Wild Multiplier Symbols and helping to get consistently boosted wins, and this only gets better if you can line it up with the randomly triggered Incursion portals. But, if you’re looking to hit the max win, then the Combat bonus game is where it is at, and you'd better hope you can survive the onslaught of demons coming at you, as it can pay pretty well. However, the bonus game can sometimes feel like a bit of a drag, as there are many fights where not much happens, with weak attacks, few coins, and plenty of health potions keep showing up. Also, sometimes you might have a legendary run going for you, and in one turn, get killed by an unlucky set of attacks from full health, completely ending your bonus game in a second, which happened to us on more than one occasion. Even with those unlucky fights, sometimes you just can’t fight all the demons of hell at once, and if you want to have a go at it yourself, then be sure to try out a few spins in the demo beforehand.
Soul Slayer is a slot where you battle demons in the streets for Wild Multipliers and push them back to hell, where you’ll be fighting bosses for increasingly big rewards.
