When the first Raging Gods: Olympus Power Combo dropped, we felt it was a rather standard Power Combo game with not a lot of depth or features outside of its main titular feature. However, in this two-year gap, it seems Nailed It! Games has decided to up the stakes a bit and make the sequel somewhat exciting to actually spin on. While the game definitely doesn’t look much different, as many of its visuals are taken from the prequel and aren’t really all that interesting to look at in the first place, we did get a handful of new toys in the way of features and bonuses to play with. So, let’s move over to the gameplay section and discuss these features in a bit more detail.
Starting with the stats, we have an average RTP of 96.12%, a good hit frequency of 29.39%, and an okay max win of 5,000X the bet. While the game has an okay paytable, the real wins come from the Power Combo bonus game, thanks to its many bonuses and the different Jackpot prizes. Starting with the Power Combo, in the prequel, we felt that a game centered around this one feature had a bit too few bonuses to really carry the game, but this time around, with the addition of Prize Double and Power Symbols, each bonus game can feel a bit different from the last. On top of this, triggering the bonus game with two or more bonuses, either naturally or through the newly added Super Collection, can lead to extremely volatile spins thanks to the bonuses stacked on top of each other. However, at the end of the day, it is still a game centered around the Power Combo bonus game, and that can be the dealbreaker. If you’re a fan of these types of games, then you’ll probably just find more of what you’re typically used to. But if you have had a hard time really getting into Power Combo games or slots with a similar formula, then this might not be all too different from what you might have played before.
