Introduction to Mr. Porky Bankster 10,000 Ways

Mr. Porky Bankster 10,000 Ways is a casino slot from Atomic Slot Lab that takes us to Mr. Porky’s office, the head chief of the biggest bank on Wall Street. Mixing pigs and banks together is a pretty common trope when it comes to themes in casino slots, as seen with things like the Piggy Riches series from Red Tiger Gaming, or Pragmatic Play’s Piggy Bankers and Piggy Bank Bills games. Atomic Slot Lab decides to go the Wall Street way, putting us in a fancy office with the golden piggy bank, Mr. Porky, as the main character. Gameplay-wise, it’s all about the Money Bag Symbols, which come in three variants with Cash Values and can payout in the Hold & Spin bonus game. On top of this, we have a Free Spins feature with random Win Multipliers going up to 100X, which is your ticket to reach the max win of 9,000X the bet.

Atomic Slot Lab delivers on a Hold & Spin and Free Spins Multiplier-centric game, where it’s all about stacking money bags for big payouts.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts

Mr. Porky Bankster 10,000 Ways is a video slot from Atomic Slot Lab with 6 Reels, a 4-5-5-5-5-4 reel setup, and 10,000 ways to win. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.25 and a Max.bet of 250. Mr. Porky Bankster comes with a lower-than-average RTP of 95.5%, a hit frequency of 33.56%medium volatility, and an okay max win of 9,000X the bet. However, something to take note of is that the game comes in multiple versions with lower RTPs, ranging from 94%, 92.5%, and 86%.

We find ourselves in Mr. Porky’s office, clad in fancy wooden carpentry from floor to ceiling, even though it doesn’t make much sense in an office building, with the big pork themselves standing right next to the playing grid. You can play the game on most desktops, mobiles, and notepads.

The lower-paying symbols are 10, J, Q, K, and A. Creating a win with 6 of the same symbols will pay out 0.48X to 1.2X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are keys, a phone, a suitcase, golden bars, and Mr. Porky. Landing a win with 6 of the same symbols pays out 1.4X to 25X the bet. Then we have the Special Symbols, which include WildsScatters, and the different types of Money Bags, but more on those in the next section.

Wild Symbols

Wild Symbols help form winning combinations by being able to substitute for all symbols except Money Bags and Vault Scatter Symbols. Wilds can only appear on reels 2-6.

Money Bags

Money Bags range from Bronze, Silver, and Gold versions, with payouts that range from 0.6X to 50X. The Money Bags can’t pay out in the base game, needing to land 6 or more Bronze or Silver Bags in the base game to trigger the Hold & Spin bonus game.

Hold & Spin

Triggered by landing 6 or more Bronze or Silver Money Bags, the Hold & Spin feature starts with 3 spins and a special playing grid, where each time a new Money Bag symbol lands, it gets locked onto the grid and resets the spin counter to 3. Landing a cluster of Bronze Bags transforms into a single Silver Bag symbol, with all clustered bronze bag values added together and multiplied by 2. By landing a cluster of Silver Bronze bags, the same thing happens, except it turns into a Golden Bag, and is multiplied by a random value of 2X to 10X. The bonus game ends when the spin counter hits 0 or all positions are filled. If it is the latter, you will also be awarded the Grand Bonus prize worth 4,000X the bet.

Free Spins

By landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Vault Scatter Symbols, you will be awarded the Free Spins feature with 10, 12, 15, or 20 spins, respectively. During the bonus game, all wins are multiplied by a random value ranging from 2X to 100X, and if the Hold & Spin feature is triggered during the bonus game, it also receives the Multiplier. You can retrigger the feature by landing 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 Vault Scatter Symbols, awarding an additional 3, 10, 12, 15, or 20 spins.

Final Thoughts on Mr. Porky Bankster 10,000 Ways

Mr. Porky Bankster 10,000 Ways is another drop in the ocean of piggy bank-themed slot games, and it seems to get ever deeper each year, and, sad to say, they aren’t really getting any more innovative. We say this because, while maybe not gameplay-wise, the theme, setting, and fun word-puns in the title are pretty similar to many other games we’ve seen over the last few years, case in point, Booming Games’ Mr. Oinkster series or Just For The Win’s Mr. Pigg E. Bank. Atomic Slot Lab hasn’t really done much to make the game pop or stand out, and even visually, the game just looks outdated and not like a modern release, making us even less interested.

Gameplay-wise, it’s another Hold & Spin-centric game, and it works just fine and has its occasional good wins, especially thanks to the Cluster Bag Upgrade system, which we actually kinda enjoy, as any Golden Bags you may hit can easily be filled with a surprising win. However, that’s kinda it for the game, as, while there is a Free Spins feature, it only comes with a random Win Multiplier, and isn’t all that interesting, as the paytable is kinda weak, but at least it can be carried over into a Hold & Spin feature. All in all, Atomic Slot Lab made a rather standard Hold & Spin game, but with an added Upgrade mechanic, which we were pleasantly surprised by, but it feels like it is missing something to keep us a bit more engaged past the first few bonus games, and its outdated visuals and rather low stats aren’t helping.

Mr. Porky Bankster 10,000 Ways is a Hold & Spin-centric game with Multipliers and Money Bag Upgrades to help stack up wins, but it is missing something to make it feel like a modern release.
